"So, why'd you break up with Justin?"

Kaylen sighed. "I already said."

Aberham nodded. "Yes, but you're going to have to share details."

"I shared all the details there are!"

"Kaylen-..."

"Can you just ask a different question?" Kaylen shifted in her seat uncomfortably.

Aberham looked to the camera man. "Uh...well...how do you feel about your breakup?"

"I'm a little sad I broke up with Justin, but I'll get over it. I have other things to focus on."

"Like?"

"Like finding a new guy." Kaylen felt guilty for smiling. Before she knew it, she was kind of expressing that guilt. "I wasn't in the wrong for breaking up with him, right? If I like other guys better that's how it is. Plus, he probably didn't even like me, we were at a sort of rocky point...I bet he doesn't even care. I might even find him flirting with somebody. He's probably just upset that I broke up with him. That's got to hurt his pride." At that point Kaylen had convinced herself Justin was a snobby person and she had done the right thing.

"Oh. Great." Aberham seemed to be lost in thought for a moment, staring at the ground under Kaylen's feet. Suddenly he snapped back to reality. "Well! That's all for now, see you around."

"Yep." Kaylen jumped off the chair and left the room.

Liv watched the bubbles in her soda float to the top. "Well, this is fun." She said sarcastically.

"Would've asked if I cared." Brandon's tone was dead serious. Surely he wasn't trying to be mean, but it was hard to see it that way.

Liv sighed. "I'm going to look for Maddi."

"Okay."

Liv hopped off the bar stool and walked out of the kitchen. Where would Maddi be in a five-story house? The top floor? Liv turned a corner and spotted Kaylen and Carson talking. They seemed to have just run into each other.

"So, uh...I broke up with Justin if you were wondering."

Carson put his hands in his pockets. "Can't say I was but-cool."

The two of them stood awkwardly.

"What now?" Kaylen asked.

Carson shrugged. "See you around I guess." He then walked away.

Liv continued to look for her sister.

"So rude!"

Poppie rolled her eyes. "I can't believe this. What are you going to do?"

Kaylen shook her head. "I don't know. I guess I'll just live life."

Poppie turned to Kaylen. "Live life?"

"Single life..."

Poppie sighed. "I know how it is."

"Hey! You need a s/o!" Kaylen exclaimed.

"Yeah but-..."

"But what?"

Poppie shrugged. "I don't know, Lexi isn't very interesting."

"Uh...yeah, I don't think Lexi is even an option."

Poppie looked at her cousin in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"Well, I saw her and Alex kissing."

"What?! Ugh, I should've known. Good thing I didn't really like her."
