1993,

After I had left the hospital wing I began making my way to my next class of the day, that being DADA which the Slytherins shared with the Gryffindors.

I walked into the class—obviously late— all eyes already on me. "Your late Mrs.potter" professor lupin, our new DADA teacher stated.

"I'm well aware professor" I answered back,"right, do you have an excuse or are you just purposely late?" Asked lupin.

"I was at the hospital wing with Mr.Malfoy." I replied, causing Harry's now furious eyes to fall on me. My eyebrows raised as a thought came to
mind,

"Very well," lupin added. Though Just as I was about to take a seat lupin stoped me. "Oh no dear, none of you will need to be sitting. You can all put your books away. Oh and, Mrs.Potter. Please come to the front." Professor lupin explained, a slight grin on his face.

I nodded, many possibilities on what he was about to make me do filled my mind as I walked to the front of the class. Everyone's eyes still on me.

"Now, everyone please form a line behind Mrs. Potter." Lupin instructed, and with no hesitations everyone did so. "This closet holds a Boggart, does anyone know what a boggart is? And what it looks like?" Lupin asked. Though only my hand was in the air—beside Hermione's of course—.

"Mrs potter," lupin called out. "No one really knows what a boggart looks like because it takes form within one's fears. Meaning, a boggart never has a permanent appearance" I answered confidently.

"You are absolutely correct y/n," lupin replied joyfully. "Now" lupin said, dropping his face down to my ear. "When the boggart comes out. I want you to shout the word Riddikulus," lupin whispered. Once he pulled away he gave me an encouraging smile before pushing me forward slightly.

"Alright, I'll be opening the closet now" lupin said as he made his way towards the closet doors. His hands fiddled with the knob for a moment before the doors swung open.

I looked from my left to right seeing nothing. Though when I looked to the floor my mouth dropped in fear. There on the floor Harry was crumbled up. His eyes where wide open though they where lifeless.

That's when his mouth opened. "It's all your fault" the boggart formed as Harry claimed, bringing tears to my eyes. I began backing up, afraid of the image of my brothers lifeless body.

Just as I placed my hands on my eyes. Wanting to drown out the image of what was in front of me. My wand dropped to the floor, lupin then casted the spell I failed on doing, before quickly walking over to me and placing his hands on my shoulders.

"Why don't you go and take a walk, clear your mind?" Lupin suggested. To which I simply nodded before gathering my things and heading out of the class. The murmurs of many students finally leaving my ears.

I walked around for a bit until I heard the bell ringing, stating the end of class. That's when many voices where heard entering the halls.

I, not wanting to get crushed by the crowd fastened my pace. Though just as I was about to reach the dungeons Valery took my side and began walking with me.

"You alright y/n?"asked Valery, concern laced in her voice. "I'm quite alright Val" I lied, giving the girl a small though gentle smile.

"Alright, I'm skipping lunch, want to come with me?" The girl offered. I nodded before I began patting my robes, trying to find my wand. Though when I didn't find it I stopped in my tracks. My heart beat fastening.

"I forgot my wand in defense against the dark arts " I stated, sighing at my utter lack of maintenance. Valery looked back at me and chuckled before saying "go, go get your wand. I'll be in the common room if you decided to come." Valery said, a hint of reassurance in her voice.
