1994,

Classes had went by smoothly throughout the whole day until defense against the dark arts had came up, roughly enough.

"Alastor Moody" the old, grubby man in front of me introduced himself before he gradually turned his back to the class and began writing on the dirty chalk board in front of him. " Ex-Auror... Ministry malcontent. " Moody said, writing his words as he went on.

"And your new defense against the dark arts teacher" moody said, finally stopping himself from writing any further. "I am here because Dumbledore asked me. End of story, goodbye, the end" moody concluded, earning many weird looks from his students. Though he didn't mind.

"Any questions?" Moody asked as his eyes scanned throughout his classroom. Though Once he saw no hands he nodded his head before beginning his lecture. "When it comes to the dark arts.." moody began, his voice slowly getting lower.

"I believe in a practical approach." Moody stated, a unreadable expression plastered onto his face before he began speaking once more. "first, which of you can tell me how many unforgivable curses there are?" Moody asked, to which mine and Hermione's hands shot up into the air.

"Three sir," I answered, confident with my answer. "And they are so named?" Asked moody as his back turned to face the class once more.

"Because they are unforgivable, the use of any one of them will-"Hermione began, though moody was quick to cut her off and answer for himself. "Will earn you a one way ticket to Azkaban, correct" moody stated.

"Now the minister says your to young to see what these curses can do.." Moody said before he came to a brief pause. "I say different!" He shouted, causing a few of the students to jump.

"You need to know, what your up against! You need to be prepared." Exclaimed moody vigorously. No wonder people where calling him mad.

"You need to find another place to put your chewing gum besides the under of your desk, Mr. Finnigan!" Shouted moody as he turned back around to face the class.

Everyone in the room turned back to look at Seamus. Though was soon to speak again. "No way, the old dodger can see out the back of his head" Seamus whispered, though it seems as though Moody has the ear of a fox as well.

As for Moody quickly turned around and grabbed a piece of chalk before he threw it straight a Seamus's head. Causing both me and Draco to chuckle to ourselves.

"Think it's funny do you? Both of you have earned yourself detention" moody said, narrowing his eyes at me and Draco, to which we both simply rolled our eyes.

Though alas, Moody stole his gaze from me and Draco and turned allowed it to fall upon the students ahead of him. "So, which curse shall we see first?" Asked moody, before he began scooping out his targets.

"Weasley!" Moody shouted, utterly frightening the red head in front of him. "Yes?" Ron whimpered I'm response. "Stand" Moody ordered.

And although Ron—who was currently a shaking mess—was scared. He still did as he was told and stood up from his chair. His eyes met with Moodys as he did so.

"Give us a curse" moody said as he lowered himself to Ron's height, only to further intimidate the poor boy. "Well...my dad did tell me about one." Ron stuttered briefly.

"Hm?" Moody hummed, signaling for Ron to continue. "The imperius curse" Ron answered, his eyebrows furrowed in fear.

"Oh, yeah, your father would know all about that." Moody accused, only causing tons eyebrows to furrow even more. "Gave the ministry quite a bit of grief a few years ago." Moody informed, much to Ron's horror.
