"Y/n! Harry! There you two are, You've came" exclaimed lupin as me and Harry walked into his classroom. "Now are you two sure about this, this is very advanced magic well beyond the ordinary wizarding level" lupin tried to warn us, though we already had our minds set.

"We're sure" me and Harry said in unison. "Well then, everything is prepared" lupin stated before he began walking down the steps to his classroom.

"Now the spell I'm going to be teaching you two is the Patronus charm, have you ever heard of it?" Asked lupin, to which I nodded, though harry shook his head.

"Yes, many times" I answered, earning a nod of gratitude from lupin. "Well then y/n, would you mind telling your brother exactly what the Patronus charm is?" Lupin said, obviously not wanting to explain it himself.

I nodded lightly before turning to face Harry, a smug smirk plastered on my face. "The Patronus is a kind of positive force, and to the wizard who can conjure one it will work something like a shield. And the dementor will feed on it, rather than the wizard." I said, not sparing Harry a single glance throughout my whole lecture.

"Though In order for it to work you need to think of a memory- a very positive one as well" I concluded, earning a proud nod from Lupin. "You always where one of the smartest witches of your age" lupin acknowledged in uttermost amazement.

"Anyways, let's practice." Lupin said as he outstretched his hand. "Close your eyes" lupin ordered to which me and Harry Almost immediately shut our eyes.

"Concentrate, and explore your past" lupin said. And with further instructions I dug deep into my stream of memories.

I first thought of Hogwarts, and soon my friends, then my brother, and finally, Draco. Though why did I think of Draco? I myself couldn't answer that question. But it surely brought some sort of a smile to my face that lupin almost immediately noticed.

"Do you have a memory?" Lupin asked patiently, to which both me and Harry nodded. "Allow it to fill you up, loose yourself within it," lupin said as his faint footsteps where heard circling me and Harry.

"And then speak in connotation, 'Expecto Patronum'" lupin ordered, emphasizing the words 'Expecto Patronum'.

"Expecto Patronum" me and Harry muttered in unison, "very good" lupin whispered before he walked over to the crate I assume held the dementor me and Harry would be casting the spell on.

"Who wants to go first?" Lupin asked, to which Harry backed away, leaving me for bait. "Great, y/n, step forward please" lupin said before allowing his hands to gaze across the latch on the crate.

"Wand at the ready" lupin ordered to which I immediately pulled my wand out of my pocket and pointed it at the crate. And within moments lupin un did the latch and pulled the top off, allowing the creature out alas.

I kept my wand pointed at the dementor as it flew up, my thoughts raced from one another in attempt to find a positive memory, though fear was stricken onto my face when I couldn't find one.

I don't know if it simply was because in reality, I don't have all to good of memory's, or that I simply wasn't looking deep enough, though I soon got my answer when a specific memory came to mind.

It was the night I had gone to the Astronomy tower with Draco, it changed many things for the both of us, and it produced me with uttermost happiness.

So with the thought in mind, I closed my eyes and let myself chant the words, "Expecto Patronum!" To which I produced a successful shield, though around that shield danced a Phoenix, it's beautiful silvery-whitish beam lit ip the classroom and fought away the dementor.
