1994,

The day of the Slytherin party had arrived, and meanwhile others where in the Slytherin common room partying, I was in the owlery with Harry, waiting for Sirius's letter he had promised us he would write.

Though as the silence of waiting progressed between me and Harry, the more uncomfortable it got. "Did you do it?" I asked, finally breaking the silence. "You know enter your name in the goblet?" I added, making myself more clear.

"No! I would never." Harry defended, to which I nodded my head. "I believe you" I spoke softly, causing Harry's head to snap in my direction.

"You do?" He asked, a glint of hope in his eyes as he spoke. "Of course I do, " I reassured the boy, causing a small smile to make its way to his face.

"Good" Harry let out a breath of relief. "I was starting to get worried that you wouldn't" Harry said as he laid his head on mine. "I am always going to be on your side James, regardless of the situation" I claimed, to which Harry nodded his head.

"In all honesty, when everyone started saying they didn't believe me, I didn't care, all I cared about was what your opinion would be." Harry admitted, causing a light smile to make its way to my face.

I smiled up at my brother in uttermost care before preparing myself to respond, though due to a large owl flying into the owlery I wasn't able to.

As the owl landed on a table in front of us, Harry picked his head up from mine and stood up from the slab of cement the both of us were sat on.

Harry then began walking towards the owl and Once once the owl was in Harry's rang of reach he grabbed ahold of the letter before unraveling it, as he read read the letter he slowly but surely walked over to me.

And by the time he reached my side once more. He had read it all, leaving me to read the letter for myself.

So, with anticipation building up within every course of my body I took ahold of the letter Harry handed me, before reading it to myself.

"Y/n and Harry, I couldn't risk sending hedwig. Ever since the World Cup, the ministry's been intercepting more and more owls and she's to easily recognized.

We need to talk, y/n, Harry. Face to face. Meet me in the Gryffindor common room at 1:00 this Saturday night. And make sure the two of you are alone.

                            Sirius, "

The letter read out. I looked up at Harry who was already looking at me before I decided to speak. "I guess I'll see you later than," I said as I stood up, handing the letter to Harry.

"Well wait, don't you want to stay with me until then?" Asked Harry, to which I sighed exasperatedly. "I would Harry, but I've got to go. I promised Valery I'd go to her party." I reasoned, to which Harry rolled his eyes.

"You never spend time with me anymore." Harry claimed, causing me to scoff loudly. "Harry, we spend almost everyday together, I'm sorry I decided to spend time with my friends for a change." I spoke, only further infuriating Harry.

"So then your just going to leave me like Ron? Like everyone else?" Harry accused, immensely bringing a frown to my face. He knew that wasn't true.

"I'm not leaving you, I'm simply going to a party, besides I'll see you in the morning" i clamied to which Harry simply rolled his eyes once more.
