1994,

"I wonder who's going to get chosen" wondered Valery out loud, as me and Blaise walked on either one of her sides, our current destination being the great hall.

"I think flint is going to get chosen," Blaise blurted out, causing both me and Valery to give him a look of disappointment. "What! I need to keep my Slytherin pride!" Blaise reasoned, causing both me and Valery to chuckle lightly.

"What about you y/n?" Asked Valery as her laughter faded out. "I think Cedric will get chosen." I admitted, causing a light smirk to make its way to both Blaise and Valery lips.

"I'm sure you do," Blaise teased, a knowing look on his face. "Oh shut up!" I sighed, hitting the back of Blaise's head only causing the two beside me to break out into louder fits of laughter.

"Oh come on, just admit your falling for him!" Valery accused, inspiring me to roll my eyes. "I am not, Cedric's a cool guy. I just don't see him that way" I admitted. Because in all honesty I'm not sure of my feelings.

A part of me still has feelings for Draco, and although I would never admit that. It's true, it was sort of as though Draco was my first love, I don't think I'm ready to let go of him just yet.

And although Cedric is extremely handsome, and has a good and kind soul. I can tell he only wants to be with me for the benefit of the Doubt. Just like all the others, I guess that's why Draco's so special to me.

"You may not feel that way about him, but he surely feels that way about you" Valery mocked, "alright that's enough" I sighed longingly.

Though luckily, me Blaise and Valery had just reached the door of the great hall. And with little to no hesitations i allowed my hand to gaze across the metal handle of the door before I mo finally pulled it open, revealing the image of all most every student at Hogwarts.

I sighed shakily before finally allowing myself into the hall, Valery and Blaise following not to far behind. "Hey, y/n. You sitting with us or potter?" Asked Blaise, immensely stopping me in my tracks.

"I think I'll sit with you guys" I answered briefly; before I made my way over to Blaise and Valery and followed them over to our respective table, the Slytherin table .

Once Blaise reached his group of friends he and Valery took a seat. Though as my eyes skimmed across the students surrounding me. My eyes where met with Draco's, almost immediately cashing me to freeze.

It was almost as though it where like old times, the both of our gazes were soft. Not full of hatred nor annoyance. Just simply care and empathy.

"Y/n!" Exclaimed Valery, breaking both me and Draco out of our trance. "I-um sorry," I muttered awkwardly before I took a seat beside Valery.

Valery looked me up and down in suspicion, though soon decided against asking any questions. Much to my relief.

Instead, Valery simply turned to her group of friends and invested in their previous conversation. Though I didn't pay any mimd to it until I was forced into the conversation as well.

"What do you think, y/n?" Asked Enzo, a mischievous grin on his face as he spoke. "About what?" I asked, utterly confused.

"About Astoria and Draco, I think they'd make a great couple" Enzo said, chucking halfway through his words. "Shut up," Draco muttered under his breath as he hit Enzo aggressively.

"Oh that's right. Sorry, I forgot. Your messing
Around with y/n aren't you?" Enzo accused, causing both mine and Draco's eyes to widen in shock, meanwhile Valery looked over at me and grinned.
