"shua hurry!" i said to him while running for my life.

we were getting chased by the government since we could read and talk gibberish.

it wasn't a problem before, the books weren't in gibberish yet. then one day, all the writing in the books all around the world suddenly turned into gibberish.

no one could read them but me and my boyfriend could. we hid the fact that we could understand it. no one knows what would have happened if the government found out.

but one day, we got caught. it was when we were reading a book in an alleyway. we thought no one was there, we were wrong. someone recorded us reading it and showed it to the government.

ever since that day, we have been hiding, getting chased, and fighting the government. it has been two years.

since we were the only ones that could read and speak fluently, we were considered special, i disagree with them.

getting chased so people could experiment on you to see how you're able to read is horrible.

"shua they're coming, they're close, really close!" even though i experienced this before, i was still scared. the fact that i could die at any moment sends shivers down my body.

"it's fine han. everything will be okay, just continue running. don't stop running until we reach the hideout, okay?" he bought an underground house before we came here, making it our hideout for when we get chased.

"how far till we're there? my legs are tired already, it feels like it's been two hours of running!"

"cause it has been two hours of running. plus, we're only an hour away from there"

"can we get a break or something? my legs hurt so much. you know it has some problems!"

"fine, hurry and get on my back! at least while you're resting, we're getting progress. unlike if we were both resting, we would take longer to arrive there. now, come on and hurry up!" he did a gesture showing me to get on his back. I followed and got on his back, like he said.

he started running, fast, like a cheetah. even though I was on his back, he still ran fast. maybe i'm not that heavy at all.

"shua, am i that light?"

"hmm? what do you mean?"

"what I mean is that even though i'm on your back, you still run fast. like when i'm not on your back. i just feel like i'm light."

"you are light, but it's fine. being light has it's advantages. for example, right now. cause you're light, we're going really fast. nothing's wrong with being light, okay?" i can't believe he can say that while running!

"okay, love you!" I kiss his cheek.

"i love you too!" he was still running but faster than before.

we finally arrived at the hideout, it was underground and basically had everything we needed to survive.

"i still can't believe this is how we have to live, getting chased by the government, ready to kill us anytime." i hated it!

"i get it's hard, but this is the consequence of knowing gibberish. we didn't even learn this, we were just born with it." i do agree that it's unfair to us.

"that's why it isn't fair. we couldn't control it, if i did have a choice, i would have wished to have never been born knowing gibberish. maybe our life would have been better than this." i curled up into a ball, hugging my knees while sobbing my eyes out.
