jeonghan was contemplating whether he should ask joshua for adopting a child or not. he had always wanted to adopt one, he adored children and children adored him. he didn't know how joshua would react, so he was kind of nervous to ask the younger.

he finally got the courage to ask the younger. he faced joshua.
jh: joshua, can i ask you something?
he asked the younger who was on his phone. the younger put his phone aside, focusing his attention to the older.

js: what is it hannie?
he sat up, wrapping his arms around jeonghan's waist, putting his chin on his shoulder, slightly smiling.

jh: i kind of want to do something
he sounded worried so joshua got confused. js: what do you want to do?
he was worried of what the younger would say.

jh: i want to adopt a child!
he excitedly said, he lowered down his head in the process of saying it. he felt the younger's arms loosen around his waist, to the point where he couldn't feel them there anymore. joshua was frozen, he didn't know if he heard the older right. did he say to adopt a child?

js: d-did you just say that you want to a-adopt a child?
he stuttered, still shocked from the question. the older nervously nodded his head. he thought that the younger would sound happier but right now, he didn't seem happy.

jh: i don't know if you want to adopt one, but i know i do. i wanted to ask you if we could get one. it's totally fine if you don't want to, i understand. i just really wish to have a child
he sounded broken in the last part, he hoped that joshua would agree with him.

js: no no no, hannie, we can adopt a child if you want
a smile grew on his face.
js: i was just startled at the question. it was so sudden, i didn't expect you to ask me that. not right now atleast

jh: really joshuji? you want to adopt one?
he excitedly asked.
js: mhm, i've always wanted to adopt a child. it was my dream to have a child ever since i was younger. i just never told you about it.
jeonghan laughed but then stopped when he noticed that the younger's face turned sad.

jh: what happened shua? you look sad right now
joshua looked up at jeonghan.
js: i'm worried about one thing. i'm worried that i won't be a good father. what if the child won't like me? what if they don't want me as their dad and want someone else to be the dad?
joshua thought of all the bad things instead of the good ones.

jh: they won't do that joshuji! i'm sure they'll love you as a dad. i've seen you take care of jun and minghao's child before and he seems to really like you. if you act like that, they will for sure love you!
jeonghan reassured him while hugging the younger.

js: you really think so?
he still didn't believe jeonghan. adopting a child is a big responsibility that you need to take care of. it's not like you can just throw it away when you get annoyed at it. you need to be patient with it and that's something joshua needs to work on.

jh: i know so, you will be a great parent. you've already had some practice in parenting with some our friend's children now, we can finally take care of one on our own.
jeonghan was happy. his dreams of taking care of a child would finally come true.

js: i still can't believe it hannie, we're gonna be parents!
jh: i can't believe it too joshuji! i love you so much! thank you for making my dream come true!

both were excited, they couldn't wait.

the couple shared a passionate kiss, cuddling eachother right after.
