"joshuji!" jeonghan screamed, tears were slowly falling out of his eyes. there was a thunderstorm happening right now, he was scared of the sound of thunder. he wanted joshua to be there and hug him, making sure that he's safe.

joshua immediately came running to their room, hearing jeonghan scream made his heart break. "hannie what hap-" he then saw jeonghan at the corner of the room, covering his ears. "shit, thunder!' he ran to the older.

he pulled him into his embrace, trying his best to comfort him. "you'll be okay baby! it's just thunder, you're safe here with me." he continued to whisper words like that to him, while the older continued to cry.

he couldn't stop crying eventhough he tried. loud sounds just scared him. joshua covered his ears for him.

that continued till the storm stopped,  after thirty minutes. jeonghan finally calmed down, he wasn't crying anymore, but his eyes were still red and puffy.

"i'm sorry shua!" he apologized, confusing the younger. "for what?" he had nothing to apologize for. "i always call for you whenever there's a thunderstorm, or when i hear loud sounds in general."

"there's nothing wrong with that. and i'm your boyfriend. it should be my job to protect you and make sure you always feel safe. you can always call for me when you're  scared. i will always be there to protect you." he continued to hug the older.

"thank you shua!" he looked up, his eyes locking with joshua's. the younger was mesmerized.

"i've never seen such gorgeous eyes before!" his eyes were back to normal, they weren't red anymore. "thanks!" he hid his face in his boyfriend's chest. "shuji, you'll never leave me, right?"

"i would never, i love you way too much to ever do that!" he kisses jeonghan all over his face. he let out a cute giggle.

"uhh, can we stay like this for a little longer shuji? you're too comfy." he didn't want to move. "whatever you want baby!"
