today was october 4th, jeonghan's birthday. he had a small celebration with his friends at a restaurant. they hung out in the morning and had lunch together. his friends still didn't know that jisoo was an author, he didn't plan on telling them.
the celebration was now finished and he was at his place with joshua. they were trying to find a movie to watch. after a few minutes of looking and not finding anything, he gave up. "i'm not doing this! why is it so hard to find a movie to watch!" he turned off the tv, putting the remote back on the table.
"probably cause you're picky with everything." jeonghan made an offended face. "hey! i'm not that picky!" joshua had a smirk on his face. "really?" the older nodded. "then what's your favorite movie?" he thought about it for a few seconds. "i don't have one."
"favorite show?"
"none"
"favorite songs?"
"nada"
"favorite food?"
"don't like any.""see! you're proving my point about you being picky!" he turned his head away, a pout on his face. "i'm not that picky, i jist don't like anything because...because..." he tried to think of a reason. "you don't have a reason?" the older nodded.
"let's work on finding you things that you'll like. but for now, i need to leave, i have somewhere to be." he stood up from the couch, fixing his grey hoodie. "but before i go, i need to give you your gift." he went to the kitchen, where he left the gift. he took it, bringing it infront of jeonghan. it was wrapped in the color, serenity.
the older took it. "i wonder what's in it?" he started unwrapping it, revealing what seems to be like a book. he continued to unwrap it. when he finally unwrapped the whole thing, he saw a book. his mouth became wide open. "is this your new book?"
the younger nodded."i was going to get this as soon as it came out in stores!" he scanned the book, admiring it. "since you're my closest friend, i decided to give you the first copy of the book." jeonghan still was shocked. "thank you shua!" he put the book on the table, running to joshua, engulfing him in a hug. the younger returning the hug back.
the younger pulled away. "i'm sorry hannie, i need to go." the older fixed his hair that got messed up during the hug. "it's fine shua. go do what you need to do." the younger left, running quickly. "i wonder what he needs to do?"
"i wish i could be with him right now!"

it was no eleven at night, jeonghan was getting ready to go to bed. he was in his bed, pulling the blanket over his body until he remembered something. "oh right! i forgot to look at the give shua got me!" he got out of bed and headed to the living room, where he last left the book.
he got the book and headed back to his room, sitting comfortably on the bed, opening the new book. he carefully looked through the book, flipping page by page. he reached the end and decided to look thought it again. this time, he started all the way from the cover.
when he opened it, there was a signature there, it was joshua's. beside the signature was a small piece of paper with writing on it. he brought it closer to his face, trying to read it.
meet my at bridge tomorrow afternoon at 3. i have something important to tell you. hope to see you there!
"i wonder what he wants to tell me? how important is it?" he kept thinking of questions and what joshua needed to tell him.
"i guess i'll have to wait till tomorrow."
he then put the book on the table next to him and went to sleep.-
