"han, you're sister's fiance is gonna be here soon to join us for dinner. his parents will also be here." he didn't know that jieun had a fiance, he thought that she was just dating someone. "jieun has a fiance? since when?" he looked over at his sister, who was giving him a slight smirk that he wasn't able to see, thankfully. but that meant that she did or was doing something mischievous. if it wasn't that, she probably had a plan to do something that wouod either go well or horrible. "since a week ago!" she looked so happy, jeonghan was proud of his younger sister. she would always talk to him about her crushes when she was in elementary and highschool. he listened carefully to each one of them, wanting to be a good brother to her. he became her role model, even till now she still looks up to him. "it's been a week and you didn't tell me?" he pretended to be hurt, making both his parents and jieun laugh. "미안해 오빠!" she hugged jeonghan. "it's fine. and i'm excited to meet him. has he been treating you well, ji?" she nodded her head. "very well, he's a good boyfriend, and soon, a good husband!" jeonghan was happy for her. she looks happier than she ever was before. he loved seeing happiness on her face. "it looks like you really love him, don't you?" she nodded her head. "i do."

then, they heard the doorbell ring. "looks like they're here!" jieun excitedly said, running over to the door, dragging her brother with her. she opened the door, revealing hee fiance's family. "hi shua!" she hugged joshua. "welcome in mr and mrs hong, minho, come in." she stepped aside, letting the hong family come in. jeonghan was in shock. he was still processing the fact that his ex, whom he still loved, was standing infront of him, engaged to his younger sister. he couldn't really be mad at his sister since she never even knew him and joshua dated before. though he wasn't really fond of the idea, he still pretended to be happy for his sister. he went over to the hong's, bowing down. "hi mr and mrs hong. i'm jeonghan, jieun's older brother." minho, the younger brother of joshua, was the same age as jieun. he had a smirk on his face, the same exact on jieun had. "we've met before, haven't we?" he nodded his head. "we have, but that was years ago." he took a glance at the engaged couple, they were talking with his parents. jeonghan just awkwardly smiled at the hongs, thinking that they didn't remember who he was.

he left to go help his mom with the food. "eomma, why is he here? is he really going to be jieun's husband?" she nodded her head. "he is. now help me prepare the food on the table!" he put all of the bowls on their long table, where everyone else was waiting. jieun sat in the middle, joshua sat on one side. the only open seat was right next to joshua. jeonghan had no choice but to sit next to him. "well, get some food everyone!" his mom said, grabbing a plate that had her favorite, 김밥. "just because this dinner was supposed to discuss their marriage, that doesn't mean it has to be serious the whole time!" she had so much energy, quite the opposite of jeonghan, a sloth. jeonghan blushed as joshua's elbow grazed his thigh when the younger was reaching for his phone in his back pocket.

"are you not hungry hannie?" joshua saw that he wasn't getting any food. jeonghan froze, he hadn't heard that nickname for him in such a long time. people would usually call him han or just jeonghan. "i am, but i'm waiting till everyone else gets their food." he watched the others put food on their plate. "what do you want? i can help you get it." he pointed over to the one right across joshua. "the 떽볶이 please!" jeonghan shyly said. "still your favorite, huh?" he murmured to himself. joshua reached over for the bowl, grabbing everyone's attention as he did. he put exactly six pieces of it on jeonghan's plate, knowing that he can't it more than that. "thanks!" he peacefully ate his tteokbokki, seeing joshu glance at gim every once in a while. when he finished his food, he excused himslef, heading upstairs to his room. "why does he have to be here!" he groaned, getting out his phone.
