the couple was laying down in bed. joshua having his arms over jeonghan's body. jeonghan comfortably laying down, feeling joshua's warmth.
joshua was already sleeping since he did lots of errands that morning, making him tired. jeonghan was just awake, staring at the ceiling, playing with joshua's fingers.
it's shocking how the younger didn't wake up yet. jeonghan was practically bending the younger's finger in a way that would make them break.
he had a huge smile on his face though. earlier that morning, while joshua was doing some errands, jeonghan intentionally broke their heater.
since joshua was never usually cold, and jeonghan was always cold, joshua had no choice but to cuddle the younger since it would be freezing. there would be blankets there, but the younger knew it wouldn't be enough for jeonghan.
jeonghan had no plan on telling joshua what he did, contemplating whether he should or should not. if he does tell him, he only wishes that joshua won't hate him and break up with him.
you might be wondering why jeonghan did all that to cuddle with joshua, even though he could've asked him since they were dating. the answer was that jeonghan was too scared.
the two have only dated for a few months, jeonghan never really asked joshua for anything. when they cuddled, it would be joshua who initiates it first. and them cuddling wasn't very often, probably a few times a month. they were still trying to get comfortable with each other, not making it too fast.
jeonghan is just enjoying the moment, not wanting to waste it.

jeonghan woke up, joshua was playing with his hair. "morning hannie!" joshua brought the older's body closer to his. "morning shua."
"how was you sleep baby? was it good? we're you still cold? sorry if my warmth wasn't enough to keep you warm. i don't know why the heater suddenly broke. i'll make sure it gets fixed as soon as possible." jeonghan felt bad since joshua was apologizing to him.
"shua, i have to tell you something..." he decided to tell the truth to the younger. "what is hannie?" joshua sat up, his back on the headboard, putting jeonghan on top of him.
"i broke the heater...i wanted to cuddle with you but i was too scared to ask you because you might've not wanted to cuddle with me, since we don't usually cuddle. so i broke the heater, hoping that you'd hug me since it would be cold." he pouted, hiding his face from joshua.
"hannie, you know that you didn't have to do that right? i would always say yes to cuddling with you. don't be afraid to ask me, i'll cuddle with you whenever you want. just promise me, don't break anything again?" jeonghan nodded, cutely smiling after.
"you're so cute baby, i get why everyone at school has a crush on you, but why do you like me? out of everyone."
"cause you're you. you didn't try to ask me out, try to talk to me even though i'm busy, keep giving gifts to me. you only gave me letters, that's what i liked about you. i always looked forward to those little notes in my locker everyday. continue to put them in there joshuji!"
