anniversary

i was preparing breakfast for jeonghan since it was our 7th year anniversary.

we have been dating since twenty, now we're twenty-seven. i'm really grateful for him.

especially since he's been there for my hardest times.

it's almost time for him to wake up. i need to hurry up and finish this.

i got the plate and orange juice ready.

as i was finishing making breakfast, i heard noise coming from our room.

he's awake!

i quickly flipped the pancakes waiting for them to be done.

after a few seconds, they were ready.

i headed there with pancakes and orange juice on a tray.

when i went in the room, his face was covered with the blanket.

he looks so adorable like this!

"happy anniversary, hannie!"

he brought his face up.

"hmm?" he still looked sleepy.

"oh, happy anniversary shua!" he kissed my cheek.

"sorry i'm still tired."

"it's fine. i brought pancakes with some orange juice. your favorite meal for breakfast."

"really? thank you shua! i love you!" his eyes were shining.

he then looked away. "i feel bad for not preparing anything for our anniversary," he didn't have to.

"you didn't have to get me anything. as long as you spend the day with me, i'll be happy. plus, you're the best gift i could ever get!"
it was true though. ever since i dated jeonghan, i've been much happier.

"i still feel bad. do you want anything? i can buy you something later?"

"i don't want anything. but, i'm kind of hungry though. can I have a small piece of the pancake?"

"of course you can! that's all you want?"

"mhm!" i gave him a warm smile.

he cut a small piece and fed it to me, also getting a piece for himself.

"mmm! I'm such a great cook, aren't i?"

"you definitely are. That's why you're the only one who cooks in this relationship. i also suck at cooking."

we laughed.

"do you want to go anywhere today?"

"can we go shopping? then, watch a movie while cuddling when we come back?"

"of course! when you're finished eating, get ready to leave, okay. hope you enjoy it!" i pecked his lips before heading out to shower.

we got to the mall and he looked like a puppy. his eyes were sparkling after seeing some stuff that he liked.

"shua, can i get the teddy bear. i want some plushies too. is it fine to get them?"

"of course hannie! pick out which one you want."

he ended up picking a huge brown teddy bear. he also started looking for plushes. the one's he got were a deer, tiger, frog, angel, and turtle.

the total ended up being $120.
(I don't know how much it is in Koreas currency)

i can't believe i spent that much money on plushies. i mean, it's for jeonghan so it's technically fine.

"do you like them hannie?"

"i do! thank you shua! i love you so much!" he gave me a quick peck on the lips.

"i love you too!"

we continued walking around, hoping to find something good to buy.

"do you want something to eat while cuddling later?"

"can we get ice cream and chocolate?"

"of course. let's go get them now."

we walked to shop that sold ice cream.

"can i get three shua?" i nodded.

he got chocolate, vanilla, and cookies and cream flavored ones.

all of those were his favorite flavors. they weren't my favorite but i didnt care. as long as he enjoys it.

after, we looked for shops that sold chocolate.

when we finally found one, he came running to it like a child when they see candy.

i was still far from it when he was already in there, searching.

i could still see him even though i wasn't there yet since the door was big.

he grabbed a bag filled it with different types of candies and chocolate. the bag was full so he got another one.

i still can't believe he loves sweets this much.

i finally arrived there.

"enjoying yourself right now?" i decided to try and scare him, earning a slap during the process.

"yes. yes i am! i am enjoying myself. and one thing, don't try to scare me again. you'll be hit harder."

"sorry. i won't, i promise. just don't hit me anymore. they hurt so much. it's like your hand is made out of metal."

"as long as you won't do it again, we'll be fine!" he continued to pick out chocolate.

this much sweets will definitely last us a month or two. it was now three full bags. THREE! not one but THREE!

"shua! i'm done picking them out. hopefully this isn't too much."

"it's a lot but i can manage."

"yay! you're the best!"

the total came out as $40.

we grabbed our stuff and headed back to the car.

when we got home he immediately went straight to our room.

"han wait!" he didn't stop, running like someone was chasing him.

he must've really wanted to watch a movie and eat chocolate.

i finished putting away my stuff.

i walked upstairs to our room.

"hannie?" i asked quietly.

"hi shua! come on and get changed so we can watch the movie already."

with that, i changed into my favorite pair of pajamas, checkered.

"have you picked a movie yet hannie?"

"no, not yet."

"what about this one?"

"we already watched transformers before though?"

"i know but i really like the movie. it was my favorite as a kid."

"fine," i guess he really likes this movie.

the movie was finished. i heard there were soft snores coming from jeonghan.

he must've been tired. usually, he would still  be awake till 2 a.m.

i decided to hug him.

this was the best anniversary ever!

i don't really care if i don't get anything, as long as i spend the day with him, i'm happy

soon after that, I fell asleep.
