Chapter 11 [ 2nd Floor Ascension Exam ]

"Naeva, this is information about the 2nd floor ascension exam."

That one sentence caught Naeva's attention. Naeva thought that maybe this little girl named Ophelia Calliope would be more helpful than she thought.

That night, Ophelia spent her time explaining the information about what kind of exam they would face along with the strategies they would use. Of course, Naeva denied some parts of the strategy that she thought were deviant or useless.

After midnight, their meeting ended. The two girls who seemed to be the same age went back to their respective beds to rest.

The Floor Ascension Exam was held once every half year. And coincidentally, the 2nd floor ascension exam would occur in less than a week. Generally, a new Conqueror would choose to wait for the next exam time to take a break from Tutorials. But such intentions did not cross Naeva and Ophelia's minds.

In the week before the exam began, Naeva spent her time teaching Ophelia how to use the Calliope Pen. The girl was a fast learner, it didn't take her long to master Naeva's teachings. Time passed so quickly. The day of the Floor Ascension Exam had arrived.

All Conquerors who want to go up or down a floor, must enter an "elevator". This elevator was different from the usual elevators in the buildings of the Naeva world. The elevator in the Tower is more like a luxury building that is like a station. But instead of containing a train, it contained two large rooms with magic circles engraved on the surface. Conquerors would enter one of the rooms to go up or down a floor. Of course, using the elevator was not free as it consumed quite a lot of resources. The Conqueror would spend about 1000-1,000,000 Carmela for one floor.

As explained earlier, Conquerors can only enter floors that they have conquered. As for new Conquerors like Naeva, she can only enter the elevator ride to go to the 2nd floor. However, she will not be sent to the 2nd floor, but rather to the 2nd floor ascension test location.

That's how the ice princess and her new partner entered the elevator ride that would take them to the test location.
