"That's crazy... What's with that blink blink filter behind her? Like this, Bere really looks like a princess. It makes my disrespectful behavior even worse."

Ruka
"Bere Nee-san... She's really like a princess. It's strange to see... Oammhh... Should I change her nickname to Bere nee-sama? Aneue? Anego? Anee-sama?"

Ruka joined Ophelia and Hamer because it seemed fun.

Now all three said the same thing.
"We are truly grateful for the kindness of Your Highness Princess Berenice."

The servants/maids and guards were touched by the words of the Princess's colleagues. They had never expected that Princess Berenice's party mates would treat her with such reverence. They had been worried that Princess Berenice's colleagues would betray her or take advantage. But it seemed like it was a futile worry. It seemed that the colleagues realized their position and were full of gratitude.

Or so it seemed on the surface. Of course, as someone who had been adventuring together for a while, Bere could immediately tell the true meaning of those words. Her face flushed, somewhere between embarrassed and annoyed. Clearly the party was emphasizing the words Your Highness and Princess to insinuate and mock her.

"Princess, thank goodness you have such good friends," laughed a maid who had known Bere for a long time.

"Ha... Haha... Hmm, yes..." Bere replied half-heartedly as her colleagues trembled with laughter.

"What's wrong with your eyes? Obviously this bastard mocked me! I'll have to buy eye drops to supply the Palace later."

The small commotion was like a breeze to Naeva's ears. She didn't pay much attention. Her focus was elsewhere. Naeva closed her eyes. She could clearly feel some of Nova's high aura inside the throne room.
