The corner of the large screen in the center of the city displayed a clock that had struck 4pm. Zeta didn't expect time to pass this quickly.
"It's already this late... I think this is enough sightseeing. I have to go home now. Or Len will nag me again."

"Are you okay with me staying?"

Naeva also glanced at the clock. Ah, come to think of it, this was the first time she had seen a digital clock in a long time. The 1st floor which was medieval Europe only had a regular clock, the 2nd floor was the same. Although this place was a bit rough, but Naeva had to admit, this place was the most advanced civilization so far.

"Yes. No problem," Naeva replied.

Zeta was a bit hesitant to leave right away.
"Really? You won't get scammed by people if I stay, right?"

"No."

"Ngghh... I'll have to think about it if I leave you like this. What can I do?"

Zeta held Naeva's hand.
"Hey, let's gamble. The bet is 1000 Carmela. You can borrow if you don't have the money. It's just a suit. I'll take out the paper, so you take out the scissors."

Naeva, "...?"

Zeta let go of Naeva's hand after swinging it up.
"Alright, no need to think too much. Here we go, se no...!"

Naeva could guess what Zeta wanted to do, so she followed the girl's request without saying much.

Zeta - Paper
Naeva - Scissors

And right after the results came out...

| The bet was over. Conqueror Naeva Winter got 1000 Carmela as a result of the bet |

Because the transfer process and any transactions other than trading were prohibited on the 3rd floor. Usually the Conqueror who wanted to transfer some money would deliberately lose the gamble against the party who wanted to transfer like Zeta was doing now. Any gambling requires the consent of both parties. And that consent does not have to be spoken. As long as in the Conqueror's heart, they is willing, then gambling will be valid.

Zeta turned around from facing Naeva.
"That's not much. But at least it's enough to stay at the inn for a few days + food. Don't spend it on gambling. You were unlucky not to get caught."

".... Thanks," Naeva replied.

Zeta waved her hand at Naeva with a bright smile.
"No need to thank me, I'm willing to help you! My house is a bit far from here. We might not meet again if you stay here. So this might be our last meeting. It was fun even though it was a bit annoying too."

"Bye bye, Naeva. Hope we don't meet again!" said the girl as she ran home leaving Naeva alone on the park bench.

"......."
Naeva stayed where she was, watching the stranger's back move away from her. After being like that for a while, Naeva finally stood up and left.

"You hypocritical girl."
