Protecting the Alpha

*CHAPTER 7*

It was two weeks since the stair incident. I healed and both Thayne and Flame were always by my side. The blood moon pack was still here. everyone was feeling nervous about it. Two packs that are both known for their fighting and cruelty. Its no wonder everyone is on edge. I was in my room changing my cloths. I had just finished making breakfeast for both packs. I was about to slip my shirt on when Flame came running in. She had a bundle of something in her arms. she was frantically looking around the room. "what are you doing." She motioned for me to be quite. "were can I put her?" I looked at Flame and nodded to my closet. She threw open the door and laid the bundle down. She threw extra blankets over it and hurriedly closed it. "Go with me on this Leah" Flame whispered. I threw my shirt on just in time for five of the pack worriors to burst in my room. " Where is the rouge Flame." I raised an eyebrow at him and crossed my arms. my wolf was itching to Come out. my alpha blood was becoming stronger with the passing weeks. I was having a hard time adjusting to my wolf. without me ever being able to change into my wolf form everything was hitting me at once. "I have no idea what you are talking about." I noticed Flame positioning herself. I moved slightly infront of my closet. " I highly suggest that you leave now. Unless you boys want the shit beat out of you." they all mumbled and turned to walk out. I shut the door behind them and waited. Flame was already inside my closet moving blankets around. " Flame mind telling me what's going on." Flame pointed to the closet floor. I walked over and shifted some blankets around. I gasped in surprise. the bundle was a little girl no more than four. she was dirty but you could tell that she had curly blond hair. other than that she looked some what healthy.

" where did you find her at." Flame was quite for a moment. " I found her in that rouge house we attacked today. Your father ordered all rouges killed. but she is basicly still a baby. I couldn't do it. so I smuggled her out. The only bad thing is that our scout knew she was there. So now your father is searching for her." I shook my head. Both Flame and I knew how ruthless my father was. Sometimes though I wish he wasn't. this little girl didn't deserve any of this. I shifted the blankets around her so she could be warm and closed the 'door a crack. "She can stay in here. till she wakes up." Flame pushed her hair back and sighed. "Leah we need to get out of here. there is to much happening that has even me on edge." I crossed my arms and started to pace.

I didn't know how or when we could get out of this place. I couldn't come up with a solution. Thayne barges into my room making me jump and Flame growl. "Sorry guys didn't mean to startle you." Thayne was chuckling when he sat down on my bed. "Hello... Is it okay to come out?" We all froze for a minute. "Did you hear that." Flame and I rolled our eyes. I walked over to my closet and opened it. The little girl was sitting crossed legged on the blankets. she had big forest green eyes. I smiled at her " Of course sweetie. what's your name?" The little girl crawled out and stood up. she gave us a huge smile. " My name is Clarissa." I smiled at the little girl " My name is Leah that's Flame and Thayne." Clarissa gave a small wave and said hi. " Come on lets get you cleaned up." I started her up a bath before turning to leave. "Oh hey Leah a lawyer stopped and gave me this to give to you." I took a huge manila envelope from Thayne. I opened it and pulled out a letter from my mother.

My dearest Daughter Leah,

If you are reading this, it means I am no longer here with you. I hope you are doing well. I am leaving you a mansion. yes you read right a mansion in Romania. Not even your father knows about this place. There are directions and a passport for you in this envelope. My this help you find your way.

All I could do was smile. My mother just gave us our answer. This was our way out.
