Protecting the Alpha

*CHAPTER 4*

When I finally reached my room that night I was exhausted. I changed into a my pajamas which consisted of a pair of yoga pants and a tank top. I slipped into my bed and instinly fell asleep. it was really late when I woke up from my dreamless sleep. I felt a chill go up my spin and the hairs on the back of my neck stood on end. I took a big breath of air trying to get a sent. there was only one sent I didn't recognize or place. I finally stood and switched on the light. I looked around the room but couldn't find anything out of place. opening up the my bed room door I made sure no one was in the hall, before heading to Flames room. I tried to be quite as possible. I heard a door open and shut I sucked in a breath and submerged myself more in the shadows of the hall. "Leah is that you." Thayne whispered into the hall with a sleepy voice. I let out the breath I was holding. "Yeah its me Thayne. sorry I woke you." I stepped out of the shadows in time to see him shake his head." you didn't. Why you out in the hall?" I was quite for a moment. not wanting to worry him to much. "do you need something to drink." all I could do was nodd. that cold odd feeling was back and I could not shake it this time. "are you coming Leah." Thayne whispered over his shoulder. I went to step towards the stairs when I heard my door open and shut. I looked over to Thayne. he held his hand up motioning me to be quite. We krept up to my room. Thayne moved in front of me. I felt annoyed for a moment before I felt cold fear like a rock in my stomach. my room was completely distroyed. all my cloths ripped and thrown around. my bed and covers were shredded, and my pillows were ripped in half with the feathers still floating around. Thayne sniffed the air trying to find a sent. I was doing the same. I just shook my head the same sent as before. "I don't recognize the sent. its no one from our pack." I nodded my head at Thayne. "The same here. I smelled it earlier when I woke up." Thayne stepped into my room for a moment then hurriedly stepped out. He shut the door as I took a step back. "You can sleep in my room till Flame wakes up. She will want to solve this problem tonight. there is no sense for that." I nodded my head in agreement. I was honestly to tired to deal with Flames over protectivness right now. Thayne laid down on the floor and I took the bed. I couldn't fall asleep with the thoughts running through my mind, who came into my room and destroyed it, and what were they planning
