I could still hear Costella fighting as we went deeper into the lab. There was a resounding boom that had the walls shaking with the force of it. "Anyone else impressed with Costella and extremly scared of her after that." Bane broke the suffercating silence that had settled. I chuckled as I walked by Bane. "I dont think Costella has even showed how strong she actually is." Bane paled but kept moving keeping wahtever he thought to himself. The further we went the more I was becoming increasingly aware that there was no gaurds, or anyone tring to stop us. However the stench of blood and chemicals sacherated the air. Making it hard to pick up any scent, and making my stomach turn at the revolting stench. Screaming could be heard but was distorted by the many halls and rooms, and with out us being able to find scents we were lost. I was becoming increasingly frustrated and I was barley holding on to my calm. I could feel myself almost slipping. "Lets go the quicker we do this we can go." We all stopped as my brother walked out with our mother. Actual tears welled up in my eyes. My mother was standing in front of me. However my tears were quickly dried away at my brothers laughter. "Oh sister how weak you look right now." I clinched my fist ready to rip my brother a part. He stepped forward and a sickening look slipped onto his face. "Didn't think I would have to fight you now." I ignored his voice I ignored him entirely. All I needed to be was faster and stronger then him. "Don't do this...the both of you are my children. I don't want to see either of you hurt." I looked behind my brother at my mother and pushed back my feelings of guilt. My brother wasn't going to back down from me. Nor I him not after everything he has done with our father. "I'm sorry mother.." I whispered to her and watched as tears filled her eyes. "You think I would fight her?" My brother laughed at the mere thought of it. His smirk turned to a sneer like smile. I heard doors opened and a eerie howl echo out. the creatures from the forest started pouring out. Some had actual fur and were more wolf like. Lucid stepped next to me tensing up readying himself to attack. Looking at a few you could see their pain and anger. They didn't have understand what had happened to them . It wasn't right what happened to them ethier. Humans were being thrown into our world without explanation. I took a step forward and held out my hand in a peaceful gesture. "I know a lot of you have no reason to trust me." Growls and snarls were my answer. "We don't want to hurt you, you don't have to fight us. You have a choice I'm giving you it." I could see some of the creatures faulter a bit. My brother growled and hit one them. Knocking it to the ground. It let out a yelp and stayed were it fell. "These things do not have a choice. They obay me,Father made sure of it." I shook my head and actually looked at my brother. He had bags under his eyes his hair was limp and lifeless. When he moved his arm I could see needle marks on them. At that moment I pitied my brother. My father lied to him as he did everyone. "Listen to me Lance your father is using you. You have to be able to see that." Lance shook his head and with out warning launched himself at me. He landed on top of me pulling me to the ground. We both faught for control. He was weak and couldn't keep a hold of me. I kicked him off me and stood waiting for him to make another move. "Do your damn job and attack her" My brother screamed at the creatures. They didn't move towards me. Causing him to become angrier. He picked himself up off the ground. "You worthless things!" He raised up his hand and went to strike the closests creature to him. I caught his arm before he could do anything. I squeezed it until I heard a loud crack. Receiving a loud screech like sound from my brother. "You need to stop this Lance. I'm stronger then you by far." He held his hand to his chest glaring at me. "You are nothing compared to me." He practicly hissed out. A growl was out only warning. A sudden group of creatures charged at us. I ran forward to grab and protect my mother. I was tackled from the side and thrown into wall. When I slowly got up I could see Lance standing behind me. He was half changed except he didn't look as grotesque as the others. He charged at me and I him. I kicked out and was rewarded with his knee snapping. He howled and fell to the ground. I bent down to check on him. My mother didn't want him dead and nethier did I, I realized. I could still hear the others fighting what creatures attacked. "Lance I'm sorry." I stood from my spot and looked at my mother tears already falling down my face. I only took two steps when I felt a burning pain in my side. I looked over my shoulder to see Lance there. A triumphant smile on his face. I could hear someone scream then suddenly Lance was gone. I felt something wet and warm on me. My mother was in front of me a scared look on her face. "Oh Leah..." She slowly reached up and touched my cheek. Her was sticky and smelled of blood. I pulled it away and frowned. I couldn't see a wound on her. "Leah are you in pain?" Miles knelt down at my side. As I looked down to ask what pain. I could see a blooming red spot growing. My eyes widened a bit and my legs grew weak. I would have fallen but Miles caught me. "Oh my sweet baby girl."y mother moved the hair out of my face as Miles situated me so he was carrying me bridal style. Suddenly all fighting stopped and a thick silence grew. I wanted to look around but I felt to weak. My eyes began to droop close and all I felt like I wanted to do was sleep. "Don't you dare go to sleep Leah." Lucids worry laced voice had my eyes opening wide. "Keep those pretty eyes of yours open for me." I tried to smile but failed. When I felt a cool breeze on me I looked around to see we were outside. I could hear snarls and growls but no fighting. "Leah we won, sweet heart." Miles hugged me closer to him. I curled my hand into his shirt anchoring myself to him. I looked out to see the council tied up as was some of their enforcers. We lost few but it was still to many. My people fought hard and I was proud to be their queen. I drew in a shakey breath and my eyes slid close. The last thing I heard was the howls of the broken hearts of the ones I loved
