* CHAPTER 19 *

"Sit down." Blake stayed standing but the boy sat down across from me in my office. " Now who are you?" The guy didnt speak or look up. He kept his head down his hands hung limply from his legs. SHE WAS GONE. THEY TOLD ME...." He trailed of and began pacing the floor. Blake moved by me in a protective stance. I sat there waiting for the guy to calm down enough to let me talk. Before he could though Flame came barging in. She threw herself at the pacing man. He caught her in a hug and seemed to calm down quickly. "Im sorry to do this to you Flame but mind telling me whats going on?" I didnt miss the smile on her face when she stepped back from the guy. I haven't seen her smile smile like this since she....My eyes widdened in surprise and wonderment. Then i sighed at my stupidity. "This must be Arron." Blake down at me in confusion. " He is Flames mate." Blake looked over at the two who have yet to acknowledge anybody. " Why did they think that they were dead?" I sighed " Im assuming my father had a hand in it. Arron was from a different pack. They are strong and almost rival us as a fighting pack." Blake looked surprised but kept quite so i could finish. " My Father wanted their territory and fighters. But Arrons alpha wanted nothing to do with my father. My father became angry and wanted my uncle to take out the alpha. Flame became weird after that. didnt talk to anyone didnt want to be around anyone ether. A war was called out on our pack by Arrons. Flame was one of the many who faught. when she came back she was worse off then before. It wasnt till a few years she told me about Arron and how they met. But she said that she was told he was dead he died in the war that the packs had." Blake looked over at Flame and smirked. "Well she dont look to upset now." I looked up to see my cousin in a full blown make out session. "Oh come on Flame get a room. This is my office." Flame looked over at me with a red face. Arron rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment." I chuckled at the two. " Sorry Leah we got caught in the moment." I smiled at the two. Arron sighed as he started to talk i put my hand up to stop him. " Arron you are more then welcome to stay." He smiled down at Flame. "Thank you Alpha." I heard running foot steps and my door fling open. Rissa,Ryia and Hadley were standing in the door way.

They ran to me pushing their way between Flame and Arron. They frantically looked around and dove behind Blake. "RISSA! RYIA! YOU GIRLS ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE WHEN I GET AHOLD OF YOU!" I recognized Thaynes voice as he shouted. I sighed the same time Flame and Blake did. " What did you do." We all said at the same time. Arron looked lost for a moment. That was untill Thayne walked in. We all took one look and bursted out laughing. " Ha Ha Ha very funny! YOUR DAUGHTER'S TURNED ME HOT PINK! HOT FREAKING PINK!" We all started laughing harder then before. The girls had managed to dye all of Thayne skin and all Hot pink.Thayne turned and stomped out of the room. Arron was taking in huge breaths of air as were the rest of us. " Girls come out and meet your new uncle." They came around from behind Blake with huge smiles on their faces. " Hello." Rissa said for both herself and Ryia. Arron smiled at the girls and waved. " So your v Aunt Flame?" Rissa asked Arron nodded "Yes i am." the girls smiled and gave him a hug. He looked up at me and frowned " I have twin younger brothers im all they have. Is it okay if they come here?" I looked at Arron as if he was crazy. "Of course they can. I wouldn't turn them away. We can have there rooms ready before they arrive." Arron smiled at me greatfully. " Thank you for this. I have been looking for a way to get out of there but didnt really know how to." nodded my head. " We understand make arrangements for your brothers and we will pick rooms for them." Arron nodded his head. " Just pick out one room. they are twins so they wont want to be separated." I smiled " Thats perfectly fine. Whats their names?" Arron smiled " Archer and Oakley."

^^^^^^^^A FEW DAYS LATER^^^^^^^^^^

I was walking down the hall when i spotted arrons brothers with Rissa and Ryia. they were hunched together whispering to each other urgently. Its been just a few days since Arrons brothers arrived but them and the girls became extreamly close in that time. They were inseparable. They jumped back when they seen me coming. " So what are you four planning?" They all started talking at once besides Ryia who opted to stand there quietly. They finally stopped talking and took off down the hall. I shook my head and smiled at their retreating backs. As I entered the kitchen I was startled to see Miles sitting at the kitchen Table.

" Whats up Miles. What are you doing here?" Miles Looked up from a book he was reading. " Im taking you on a mission with me." My eyes widened in surprise. " We leave in three hours." Before i could stop him he was out the door and gone. I sighed well now what. I heard yelling and Cursing from upstairs. The kids pulled anther prank. I smiled and shook my head. I reached my room to find Blake standing outside of it. I gave him a quizzical look. He crossed his arms and waited for me to enter my room. we walked through and shut my door. " Your going on a mission with Miles." He didnt he ask he was simply stating what he knew. I sighed and nodded my head. he Leaned against my wall by my closet watching me pack. I walked by him to enter my closet but before i could enter it he grabed my upper arm and turned me to face him.

" You need to be careful Leah." I scwoled at him but when I caught his worry that was written all over his face. I couldn't help but soften my expression. A small smile formed on my lips "Dont worry I will." Blake let go of my arm and recrossed his arms. " Do you have anything going on with your work?" Blake sighed pushed himself off the wall " Nothing for atleast a couple of weeks." I looked up to see blake run a hand over his face. " Can you keep an eye on the girls for me. I know the others will but." blake put a hand on my shoulder " Of course I will." He whispered I looked up at him to see his face centimetres from mine. He Began to lean in when My dysfunctional friends decided to burst in. We jumped apart from each other.

" Did we interupt something." Tinsley said through a giggle. My face turned bright red and Blake stuffed his hands in his pockets. Everyone else just smirked. Flame stepped up and pulled me into a hug. " So when do you leave. In three Hours. not much time to say good bye." Flame nodded her head. At that point Arrons brothers and the girls came in. " Hey mommy whats up." I simled at Rissa and Ryia as they helped Hadley onto the bed. " Well i have to go on a trip for a few days. But i promise to bring you back something." The girls looked at one anther and threw themselves at me. " We dont need anything mommy. Just come back okay." I held back the tears that threatened to spill over. The girls pulled away and smiled I then turned to Arrons Brothers. " Archer Oakley come here." the boys stepped up and stood in front of me. " I have a extremely important job for you boys." I bent down to their level and looked into their eyes. " I need you to watch over Rissa and Ryia for me. Keep them safe." The boys nodded their heads. " We will." they said at the same time. I smiled at them " Im counting on you two." They saluted at me and marched over to stand in front of the girls. I chuckled at the two they are going to take this seriously. I sighed and made my way around the room to give everyone a hug as Stepped in front of Blake he held up his hand " Ill walk with you to Miles." I smiled and nodded my head.

as we stepped outside and made our way to Miles. After a couple minutes of walking Blake stopped me. Before I knew what was happening i felt something warm crash agianst my lips. I froze What is going on. is Blake kissing me. Before i could process what was going on Blake pulled away. " Be careful Leah. I wont be there to protect you and..." I stopped Blakes rant with a kiss of my own. " I will be fine dont worry." I smiled at him and turned to walk the rest of the way to Miles. When i reached Miles yard he was waiting for me with a file. He handed it to me with a curt nod. I opened it to see a picture of a guy he looked some what Familiar. As I began reading a gasp of surprise left me. This man we had to go after was Lucid. I looked up and closed the file. so much for being careful.
