Hazel3I heard the beeping before I opened my eyes. I looked around the very bright white room I was in. The door to the room creaked open and I watched as my mother stepped in. "Your awake sweet heart." My mother sat down next to me and pulled me into a hug. Before I could stop I was crying into her and holding her tightly. "Shh now.. Leah I am here and fine." Soon I heard the door open and Lucid stepped in he looked tired and exhausted as he sat down in a chair. He hadnt looked my way yet. "Lucid...Lucid.." I croaked out his name. When finally he looked at me I felt fresh tears pour down my face. If he could have ran to me he would have. He jostled the bed making me wince a bit. I didn't care I wanted him to hold me and be here with me. "Your awake.." he pulled me in close to him and buried his head in my hair. "I am so sorry." I gripped his shirt and pulled myself closer to him. So I could breath him in. I smiled as I heard my girls in the hall. Their voices held excitement and joy. "They've missed you we all have." My father and Fade walked into the room both smiling with rissa and Ryia bouncing around their legs. Hadley was walking beside Fade watching her sisters quitely. I held open my arms for them. Rissa and Ryia wasted no time both jumped up into the bed and threw themselves at me. Lucid picked up Hadley an set her on the bed. I pulled her into my lap as I sat listening to Rissa tell me all thy have done since I was asleep. They went silent for a moment before looking around. "Uncle Blake will wake up too right." I watched as everyone's face fell. I look over to see Lucid watching me. '"what happened?" He sat silent still watching me. It was fade who came over to me. He laid his hand on my head. "I'm sorry cousin Blake fell in the battle." My insides went cold as my chest felt like it was being shredded apart. I heard a growl and Lucid made me face him. "This isn't your fault Leah." I pushed the blankets from me and shakily stood. Walking out into the Hall I could hear some chanting walking close I could see Costella standing in the middle of the room Bane standing in the door way watching her. "What happened?" I finally choked out when I finally saw blake. He had tubes running out of each arm make a yellow type of fluid go trough one and a purplish blue out the other. No to mention his I.V that was pumping medicine into him. Costella finally stepped away after she sang a low long note. Her shoulders shook and I could hear small sobs come from her. I've done everything I could its up to him to come back." My mother had made it into the room and drapped her arm around Costella. Trying to sooth her friend. I could only stand there and stare. This wasn't my fault or any ones. This laid with father an his want for destruction. Bane brought me back to reality while Lucid wrapped an arm around me. "Leah I know it's hard but you need to make a decision about the council. The packs are out for blood for what was found at council house." I nod still unable to speak. Lucid helped me back to my room back to our girls. Where I could see a folded pile of clothes.. "alright my little pups I have some important things to do,but after I am done we will have a movie night." Rissa and Ryia perked up as Hadley hurriedly nodded her head. "Why don't you three go and pick our some movies. They were off running down the hall Hadley barely keeping up with them. "What do you plan on doing?" I looked up and met Fades eyes. "Costella knows a truth spell if she isn't up to it then one of the other witch's can preform it. We'll figure out who is innocent and who is not." Fade watched me with a small hint of pride. I went into the small bathroom slipping on a pair of yoga pants. Opting to leave on my tank top. I was still really sore from my wounds. We made our way up into the pack house where I was greeted by cheers and a few new faces. "I want the old council and all pack alphas at the council home." I sent out to everyone as I tracked down Costella. Who was in the kitchen with my mother. A cup of steaming hot tea sitting between her hands. "Costella I know you have been through alot." She looked up at me a cold set look about her. "I'll preform the truth spell on those bastards." A small smile crossed her face. "You are able to connect to everyone as queen. It's something we need to work on." Going to the car and driving to the council home was surreal to me. Lucid squeezed my hand gaining my attention. "Leah your brother..." I closed my eyes and breathed in deeply. "Is he dead?" I whispered unsure I wanted to know the answer. "No he's alive,he escaped after he unleashed more of the creatures. His injuries were bad enough he might have a problem with healing." I opened my eyes strangely relived he wasn't killed. I hope he can see the evil that comes with our father and escape from it. Giving him a chance of a life free from it. The gravel crunched under the tires as we came to a stop. I looked up and stepped out of the car already greeted by the Alphas and the old council. Looking at them all I stepped forward. "Each one of you will be questioned by my friend Costella and by my cousin Fade." Fade stepped forward with costella. I noticed Blayne flick a cigarette and come to stand by fade. "I don't remember bringing him." I growled out at lucid. Blayne shrugged and then smiled. "How could you forget me?" I snorted and looked away from him. "Pretty easy to do." He laughed and faced the crowd. He obviously choosing to be part o the questioning. "This was just a mere battle of many. We will stop my father and bring him the justice he deserves. This isn't the end it's the beginning. The Beginning of something far greater then what my father could ever dream of. The unity of all races to bring peace." I watched as everyone clapped and cheered for the new life that was coming. Holding onto lucid and feeling his warmth just made feel that this was where I was always ment to be. Lucid wrapped me in his arms and pulled me to him. Kissing me so deeply it made my toes curl. To the shouts and wolf whistles. I smiled up to my mate and could only see the bright future ahead of us.
