Protecting the Alpha

* Chapter 22 *

When we reached my home I had Miles take the five men to his home. Just untill I had told my pack what was going on. I had called for a pack meeting. In which I find myself standing in front of my pack. While their mouths seemed to quit working. Miles had shown up while I was giving the meeting. " OH MY GOSH WE ARE PRINCESSES!!!" I began to laugh at the sight of my daughters. They were jumping up and down and hollering about being princesses. "Whose kids are those." I looked over to see miles standing by me. "Those are mine. I adopted them." One of the men in my new personal gaurd stepped up to me. " We will need gaurds for them also Your majesty." I smiled at the man. "Whats your name?" The man became very uncomfortable before replying to me. " Nick Your majesty." I turned back to my girls. " Nick my girls are the safest kids around. But I will set up gaurds for them." I grined as Blake walked up. " Well queen Leah..." Blake had a smile acrossed his face. I chuckled at him. " Im not queen yet." Blake shrugged his shoulders. " I have another gaurd coming in a few days. Will you be here or do you have to leave for that job?" Blake sighed "I have to leave. I honestly should have left two days ago." I winced knowing Blake was cutting it close on his deadline. " You should go then. Any plans or security changes we will let you know." Blake nodded his head. " Ill let the warriors know about the other gaurd." Blake said as an after thought. " Blake where is your job?" Blake thought for a moment. " London I belive. need me to talk to the Pack there. " I nodded my head. " That would be a huge help. You can take someone with you. I would suggest River he wont be one to loose his temper in the moment." Blake called over River. " River you will be going with Blake to talk to a pack in London." Rivers eyes widdened " The white water pack." I nodded my head "Set up a time for me and there alpha to meet. I know my father hasnt approached them yet. If we get to them before he does..."

It didn't need to be spoken. If we get to the bigger more prominent packs we have a huge advantage over my father. But he will soon start approaching them himself of he hasnt already. " Alpha there is a man claiming to be part of your personal gaurd." Dayan one of my best warriors mind linked me. " What did he say his name was." I waited for a few minutes waiting for him to answer. "Kyoto Alpha. He says his father told you of him." " Send him in he is part of my gaurd." I turnes to Blake and my other gaurds " The other gaurd is here a little earlier then expected. " Before I could turn around again I heard a screech then glass breaking. " WHAT ARE YOU DOUNG HERE KYOTO! YOU BASTARD! " I sighed as I seen the cause of the commotion. Tinsley was yelling and throwimg anything she could get ahold of. " YOU CRAZY SHE WOLF." The man who was being bombarded with things yelled out. " HEY YOU CAN'T TALK TO OUR AUNT TINS LIKE THAT!" My daughters were standing by Tinsleys side with their hands on their hips. " WHAT!! YOU LISTEN HERE YOU SHRIMPS!" Thats when Oakley and Archer joined into the unfolding drama. " HEY YOU CAN'T CALL RYIA OR RISSA SHRIMPS. WE'LL BEAT YOU TO A PULP." Archer and Oakley yelled. I shook my head as my gaurds began to laugh historically. " WHAT ARE YOU LIKE SEVEN! LIKE YOU COULD EVEN DO ANYTHING!" Tinsley threw anther vase " YOU WATCH WHAT YOU SAY ABOUT THEM KIDS!" Some how Tinsley had gotten anther vase. "Uh Leah do you know whats going on?" I couldn't even answer. I couldnt look away from the train wreck unfolding. I heard someone come up to my left laughing uncontrollably. " Why is Kyoto here." I looked over to see Jocelyn with Thayne. " You know Kyoto?" She nodded her head "Oh I know him alright. Him and Tinsley are mates. But he rejected her." My eyes widdened " I wish I would have known." Jocelyn just laughed. " Not a whole lot of people do. But lets just say they can't really be in the same room." I sighed " I can see that." I looked up to see rissa ryia oakly and archer throwing themselves at Kyoto. It was like slow motion them launching themselves at Kyoto. Then went Tinsley with some weird worrior cry. I groaned leave it to to make everything dramatic. Although Kyoto deserved it. " Well Guys lets go separate them before they kill Kyoto." Jocelyn and Thayne were laughing as they followed me. As we got closer I heard Arron yelling at his brothers.Flame was standing by him but was not much help considering she was doubled over laughing. " Blake grab the girls. Jocelyn help me get Tinsley. Thayne grab the boys." Blake grab the girls while Thayne grab the boys. Which left Tinsley who was punching Kyoto and screaming at him. We dragged her off him kicking and screaming. " I'LL GET YOU KYOTO DON'T THINK THIS IS THE END OF THIS!" Kyoto pulled himself off the ground and growled. "THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS I REJECTED YOU! YOUR A CRAZY BITCH!" Tinsley stopped struggling against us and became eerily calm. " What. Did. You. Just. Say." Jocelyn and I looked at each other. " YOU HEARD ME!" Kyoto yelled. "Tinsley go with Jocelyn." Jocelyn walked Tinsley out of the room. " That crazy..." Kyoto was mumbling under his breath. " That girl is like family to me and my daughters." Kyoto glared at me " Your father suggested that you take his place in my personal gaurd." Kyoto looked surprised for a moment but then covered it up. " So heres the deal work out whatever it is you and Tinsley need to." I held up my hand to stop him before he started to speak. " I dont care why you rejected her. Thats your problem and its your loss. But I will tell you this you talk to my daughters again like you did...I will rip you apart." I turned and walked away then. I found my daughters Tinsley Oakley and Archer in the kitchen. " I know who does he think he is calling you a shrimp." Ryia was sighning so fast i could barley keep up. " I know so rude." Rissa hollard. Oakley Growled "He's Lucky that Archer and I didn't do more damage." I laughed at Oakley " Why dont you four go play?" Rissa Oakley and Archer jumped at my voice. I chuckled at them. Archer stood and took Ryias hand as they filed outside. I couldnt help but smile. I waited a minute before turning to my gaurds "Go do something." I closed the door to the kitchen. Shutting them out of our conversation. I turned to Tinsley only to see her staring out the window. " She wont talk right now." Jocelyn Whispered to me. " I really didnt expect her to." Silince settled over us. Nothing awkward it was a silence ment to alow us to think. " I'll send Kyoto home." Tinsley turned from the window then. "No you shouldn't have to do that. He is a great fighter and is well known for it." Pride was shown on her face. But it soon turned into sadness. " The only thing I ask is that he is not to perade his floozies around me." I narrowed my eyes at her. " Are you sure you want me to keep him around." Tinsley nodded then turned back to the window. I looked over at at Jocelyn and motioned her to follow me. As we stepped out of the kitchen we let out a sigh. It was weird seeing Tinsley like this. She was always care free and happy. I reached my office only to see my gaurds, Thayne, Flame and River. " what do you all need." Flame sat on my desk and began moving things around. I rolled my eyes at her. " Shouldnt you be with Arron?" She chuckled at me " Nope he is talking to the boys right now." I groaned and slapped her hand away. " Your majesty we would like to know who will be protecting your daughters." Dayan bowed as he spoke. I growled one of the many things I hated that these boys do that. " Did he just bow to you?" Thayne tried suppressing his laugh. " Thayne hold back your smart ass comments." He flinched when Jocelyn smacked him in the chest. " Ow what was that for?" Jocelyn just glared at him. " Dont bow guys it makes me uncomfortable." I sat down in my chair. " Alright obviously we need gaurds for the girls also Oakley and Archer. But to warn you they are a....." "WHAT THE CRAP IS THIS! IT STINKS SO BAD!" I sighed but smiled " Hand full. They play pranks all the time and they are always doing something." At that point Kyoto came in covered in a syrup type stuff that stunk horribly. " My point is made." I said through a gag. " Uh Kyoto leave the room." He turned and left without a word. " Dayan,River and Tinsley will gaurd the kids. Is that okay Flame?" She nodded " I don't see why not you know the boys will keep an eye on Rissa and Ryia as well as Hadley." Dayan looked around. " Hadley?" I smiled " She is my youngest. She is quite and tends to stay close to my eldest but they wont let her do pranks yet." Dayan still looked confused. " Rissa,Ryia Bring Hadley and Oakley and Archer with you to my office." I heard running foot steps then my door burst open. All the kids filed in with smiles on there faces. " Holy crap those are the same kids from earlier. Good luck Dayan." I chuckled "Girls boys this is one of your gaurds his name is Dayan. Also Tinsley and River will be gaurding you." Hadley was still hiding behind my leg from everyone. Rissa and Ryia smiled at each other. While Oakley and Archer just look upset. Ryia scooted herself towards Archer as Rissa scooted closer to Oakley. The little boys seemed to calm themselves. I looked at the four in wonder. " I have been doing the same thing." Flame mind linked me. " They could be mates but since they have not changed they have not realized it yet. " You think they could be mates?" I barley noticed the head nod that came from Flame. " Its very rare to happen but has known to happen." I smiled "Well only their change will tell." Flame and I ended our mind link. Blake came in then looking around the room. "Can I speak to you Leah." I nodded my head and gestured for everyone to leave. They all filed out With Flame and Jocelyn giving me a weird look. Thayne shut the door behind him. " While im gone I will get ahold of some of my contacts. they might be able to help with whats going on." I began to rub my temples. I had a huge headach coming on. " Leah you need to relax. You wont help anyone if you run yourself into the ground" I sighed "There is so much I need to do. And it needs done quickly." I was cut off by Blakes lips crashing into mine. I felt myself melting into it. Blake moved me closer to him to deepen the kiss. I smiled slightly Blake is suprising and is always catching me off gaurd. When he finds a mate she will be lucky. I froze Blake has a mate out there somwhere. A mate who is waiting for him to find her. And here we were kissing in my office. Blake pulled away and looked down at me. " Whats wrong?" He reached out and placed a piece of hair behind my ear. " You have a mate out there some where." Blake stepped back away from me. " Thats what your worried about. Our mates? Leah I have yet to find mine and I have traveled the world. Even if I found her I would reject her for you." I pushed Blake away from me. "Why would you even do that. Have you seen Tinsley today. How empty she looks. I couldnt do that to someone. And you shouldn't want to you should want to be with your mate." I couldnt believe Blake would do that. My chest squeezed in sorrow. Blake just stared at me. He turned to leave the room. "Leah I dont care about a mate I dont know. All I want is you and i will not back down from this." He left the room then. I sagged into my chair. I felt whatever energy I had left leave my body. " Flame I need to speak to you." I mind linked her. " Okay Leah be there in a minute. Tinsley and Kyoto are at it again." I groaned this is going to be so much fun.
