We arrived in Romania with just a bag each. We filed outside with Thayne pushing people out of our way. As were wolves our senses our tens times better that of humans. So big crowds means alot of scents. We can get headaches or we can get physically ill. So we try to avoid overly crowded places. " I can feel a major migraine coming on." Flame groaned out. Thayne clinched his jaw he was very pale and looked like he would get sick at any moment. I pulled my hand from rissa's and gave her over to Flame. " Hand me your cell phone, ill call the lawyer." Thayne handed me his. His face was still pale but he was starting to get his color back. I looked down at the cell phone and frowned." How in the world do you use this." Thayne was coughing trying to cover up his laughter. Rissa was out right laughing at me, and flame had a huge grin. " This is amusing to you." I growled out. Which only made Rissa laugh harder and Thayne. To double over from his. " Here I'll show you. Look you see this button you touch it and it takes you here then you dial the number. Hit send and there you go." I snorted. Flame on her way back smaked Thayne hard enough to make him fall into a couples huge stack of luggage. I held back my laugh but watching Thayne try to untangle himself from the mountin and apologizing at the same time it was hard to. The lawyer didn't answer when I called his direct line. As I was hanging up the phone a dark blue suv pulled up. " Excuse me are you Ms. Rainkins." Thayne had untangled himself and was over by me and Flame had moved Rissa behind her. " It depends on who you are." The guy was American he had a southern drawl. ware wolf I could smell it on him. " Mr. Larkin sent me to pick you up. He had some urgent business with the council." Thayne had moved slightly more in front of me." there is no need for that." Thayne stiffened. No one should have seen him move. I barely caught him doing it." I was expecting my mothers lawyer to come." The man nodded his head " Like I said he had council business to attend to."
I crossed my arms. I didn't know if we should trust him. My uncle told us about some council here in romania. But if everyone here knew that then. I was stopped in mid thought when he suggested that we call Mr. Larkin. " I'll call the meeting house directly so you can talk to him." He pulled out his cell phone. He did some scrolling then finally handed me his cell phone. The phone rang a couple times before someone answered. " Did you find them." I was startled for a minute. " Mr. Larkin its Ms. Rainkins." There was chuckle on the other end of the phone. " You calling to make sure I actually sent Bane." I let out a sigh " can you entertain me please and describe him to me." the lawyer chuckled agian. " Not a problem Ms. Rainkins. He should have dark brown hair and eyes he is about 5"9." I looked over and the lawyer description fit. "Thank you Mr.Larkin." there was papers being shuffled " Not a problem...Not a problem,if you need anything else." he paused for a moment " Just give me a call." the phone went dead and I handed the phone over to Bane. " He checks out. But if you try anything I don't like." I left the warning in the air. Not wanting to make a real threat but making sure he knew I would do something. I settled Rissa in the middle between Thayne and Flame. Before I settled myself up front. The car ride was silent for mer minutes before Rissa let curiosity get her. She was asking bane questions about everything. I was nodding off when Rissa scared me by popping her head in between the front seats. " So what's your name?" I sat up in my seat and looked over at her. " Your not going to know his name if you don't sit back and buckle up." She sighed but I heard her put on her seat belt. " My name is Bane. What's yours little one?" I was thinking back trying to remember if I told them his name. Rissa interrupted by telling Bane her name. Then it was Banes turn to ask Rissa questions. Finally we heard her even breathing in the back. I looked back at her to make sure was comfortable. I took the corner of Flames blanket and covered her. I shifted around and settled back into the front seat.
Bane began to fidget in his seat. " You and your mate must have your hands full with that one." I caught him looking back at Thayne and I laughed. " You think me and Thayne are...." My eyes were tearing up from my laughter. Bane scowled at me and faced the road. I wiped the tears that were running down my face. " Thayne and I are not mates. As for Rissa she is one of the major reasons we are here." Bane nodded his head. " So is it none of my business if I ask why." I was somewhat taken aback. Should I tell him why we are here. I wasn't for sure what the council knew our what they had told the packs surrounding us. " She was a rogue. Flame saved her." I didn't tell him the story. As far as Rissa was concerned he didn't need to know. " What's the other reason." I didn't have to think to hard for me to answer. ' Because of me." I grew quite after that. I felt exhausted and drained. I closed my eyes just to rest for a moment. I fell asleep instead. It felt like I wasn't asleep for long before I was shaken awake. " We're here... Hurry it up guys let me out." Rissa was shouting in the back seat. I looked at the new home that my mother had left me and I gasped. This wasn't a house like I thought it would be. This thing was way bigger might as well be a castle. Werewolf or not we will surely get lost in it. " I get first pick of a too!" Rissa was running towards the house. " Not before me Rissa!" Thayne shouted to her. Rissa squealed and to run faster. They were in the house before we even got half way there. Flame was walking beside me looking around. " Might be a good idea to get some security. This place is huge already and we haven't went out back yet. With it being us three actually two who would be guarding." She let the sentence fall. Her and Thayne would never get any sleep. Having a security system would allow them to get some type of rest. Although I didn't think Thayne would agree with it. He would rather loose the sleep and protect us all. I had two choices let Thayne and Flame run themselves ragged. Or I could figure out who would install the security system. I chose the later of the two. I could maybe the council knew someone who could do it. " What do you think we would need Flame?" Flame sighed she looked around then sighed agian. " To be honest Leah this place is so huge that I wouldn't even know where to begin." we heard a throat clear behind us. " I might be able to help you out." we had forgotten that bane was with us. We both turned to him. " He's a rouge but he does security for a company that hires out body guards. I can give him a call see if he can do it for you." I crossed my arms and snorted. " What's the catch?" Bane shook his head " No catch you need security and I know a guy." I stood there waiting for the but that never came.
