Tommy, Arthur and John got out of the cab. The three looking at the rather grand exterior of the club. Two very large, very well built man smiling, as a number of people walked in. The burly duo nodding respectfully as they passed. This was certainly not the kind of place that Tommy would associate with Alfie, either owning or patronising. But it did suit his sister; it had the same kind of class, the same kind of style that she had had when she had made her way into Alfie's office earlier that day. And he was interested to see if all that continued to the inside. Tommy making his way towards the entrance, quickly followed by his brothers.
"Can I help you...............gentlemen?" One of the big men enquired with a condescending tone, holding up his arm to prevent the brothers from entering the establishment.
"We would like to come in........" Tommy simply replied, as he pulled a piece of loose tobacco from his mouth.
"Well...........sirs. This is a private club, members only..................."
"So, how do we become fuckin members............." Arthur growled, already having had enough of this shit. The oldest Shelby not caring how big this guy was, he would still knock him on his arse if he didn't become a little more polite. His brows furrowing as the man turned to look at his cohort. The fellow disappearing for a moment, before returning with another man. This one tall and slender. His thick blonde hair slicked back over his head.
"Gentlemen............." The man began. It obvious from his accent that he was French, and that he was employed for something more than the two grunts on the door.
"My name is Phillipe. I have been informed that you would like to become members............?" The blonde continued. Politely gesturing for the trio to move back, as a man a woman approached.
"Mister Fairbanks, Miss Pickford. I hope that have a wonderful evening." Phillipe greeted. Arthur and John looking at one another as they realised that two of the worlds best known actors had just walked past them.
"Now.......where was I.........ah, yes. I am afraid that the owner is very selective about the................"
"Oh, you mean, Miss Solomons. Miss (Y/n) Solomons.........." Tommy interrupted. The Frenchman's eyes growing wide at the mention of her name.
"You know Miss Solomons.................?"
"We are acquainted, yes..................The man is Tommy Shelby." Tommy replied. The tall blonde looking uncomfortable for a moment. Before giving him a smile.
"Well. Please come in. I will send someone to inform Miss Solomons that you are here.........?" The Frenchman finally said, gesturing for Tommy and his brothers to follow him into the foyer of the club. Arthur and John giving the two big men on the door a murderous glare before entering the club.

(Y/n) sat at the desk in her office, going through the previous night's takings, filling out the books and making sure that everything was in order. It was already clear from the sounds from downstairs that it was going to be another busy evening, and she was just happy that she had been proved right, and this was giving Alfie the returns that she had promised.
In truth, Alfie hadn't liked the idea of the club when she had first mentioned it, nor that she wanted to run it. Her brother saying that it was not right, and not "fuckin proper" for a good Jewish woman to deal with such things. To which she had argued that it was a good thing then that she wasn't a good Jewish woman. Stating that he had gone out of his way to have her seem more like a Gentile. That he had sent her to the right school, had her taught how to speak properly so that she could work as the more public, respectable face of his business dealings, so why not use it. Her brother only agreeing, once he had seen everything, approved everything, and once she had agreed with all his stipulations. And now here she was, six months later, with one of the most successful clubs in the Westend. Famous actors, singers and radio stars her regular cliental.
Suddenly, a knock came to the office door. The younger Solomons quickly placing the pile of large white banknotes into her desk draws, before calling for the visitor to enter.
"Yes Freddie.........what is it?" (Y/n) asked, as the young man made his way into the office.
"Phillipe sent me. Says he has some geezers that want to come in. One claimed that they know you. Even used your name............Your real name." Freddie explained, watching as his boss got to his feet and made her way over to look into a large mirror that hung on the wall. (Y/n) pushing a few stray strands of her hair back into her neatly coiffured hairstyle.
"It is not geezers, Freddie. It is gentlemen. And do these gentlemen that claim to know me, happen to have names................?"
"Oh, yeah, sorry Miss Solomons. And er........yeah, one of them said they were called Shelby. Tommy Shelby.............." The sound of the name causing (Y/n) to quickly turn.
Tommy Shelby. As she had told him earlier that day, her brother had indeed mentioned him and his brothers; a lot of it not being in the most glowing terms, but still........... Though she did get a sense that Alfie had a respect for Tommy, that he didn't have for many others. That telling her something about the calibre of the man.
She would freely admit that when she had been introduced to the men from Birmingham, she had been unable to stop herself from being instantly drawn to him. His eyes were intense. They reminded her of storms. Of dark skies that were lit by a sudden flash of lightening. (Y/n) finding herself desperate to know what lay beyond them. What emotions hid behind those windows to his soul. And this.......this might be her chance to find out.
"Well then.......I better go and greet my guests, hadn't I..............?" (Y/n) replied, smiling at the young man, before she made her way out of the office. Freddie quickly following behind.
