A/N yes that was another song reference. Its Fall Out Boy this time tho <3

Over the next few days, and even into the next week, you felt like shit. And it was causing you to become a nasty person to be around, you snapped at anyone and everyone. Alastor and Lucifer were really the only ones who stuck around to put up with it. You felt bad, just in general.

You didn't want to do anything, your body hurt, your head hurt and you felt like your whole body was made of cement.

Even now as you attempted to work on songs for the deals you'd made for people on earth, you were extremely distracted. You couldn't concentrate. Alastor was at the hotel with Charlie and your dad was busy with a few overlords from the southern end of the pentagram. He was also supposed to go to the wrath ring later this week. With Malachi's wedding around the corner, soon to be here in just under a month, you were stressing in an effort to get the music done. Malachi had noticed your sickly state and told you that you shouldn't worry about and it didn't have to all be original, but you felt like you'd be letting her down if it wasn't.

So instead, you sat inside your studio, staring at the black and white keys on the electric piano. Initially, you'd hoped that writing a few songs for artists on earth it would help you with Mal's music. But neither one came to you, so you sat in your misery with an aching body and a lingering nauseous feeling in your stomach.

The dust on the keyboard of the piano ruffled with your breath, the slow gusts of air dislodging the particles. It had been several weeks since you had even set foot inside the studio, much less cleaned it. Unable to think of anything to write, you just started messing with the sounds on your keyboard.

Eventually, a knock made you jump a little bit. When you lifted your head, Eridah stood in the doorway. "Still feeling like shit?" Her tone was sensitive, but clearly had something beneath it. "What do you think?"  You responded, turning back to your computer. Suddenly a plastic bag with a few things in it hit you. You gave her a fierce look, but didn't say anything as you opened it.

Inside were a few vitamins, oils, and a few things that you often used. But at the very bottom,

"Why did you get this? Is it for you?" You asked Eridah as you pulled out a pregnancy test. Eridah just gave you a serious look. "No, it's for you. I know that you and Alastor have been fucking like rabbits." Eridah's words were evenly spoken.

"I'm not pregnant." You snorted defiantly. The symptoms you were feeling were so much worse than that of just morning sickness.

"Maybe not, if you aren't you have nothing to hide. So just take the test, if you aren't pregnant, then you're sick and you need to see someone about it. If you are, we need to have a different conversation. Specifically with Alastor and Dad." Eridah asserted calmly, you let out a sigh and stood with the bag in hand. Eridah flipped the light switch and closed the door behind you.

Neither of you spoke as you led Eridah back to your room. She left you to take the test while she unloaded the bag and placed the things you used in their spots and left the vitamins and other shit she'd bought on the counter.

After you finished, you placed the test on the counter and washed your hands.

"Has Via shown up at all since Kelsey left?" Eridah asked suddenly as she sat on one of the counters in your large bathroom. "No, why?" you breathed as you sat down on the edge of the tub. The cool stone beneath you that encased the soaking tub left marks on your skin and made it hard to get comfortable, but eventually, you managed.

"Well apparently Stolas has been lending his magic to some imp demon so that sinners down here can get revenge on people who are still alive." Eridahs words made your eyes widen. "Someone needs to tell dad, but Via just didn't want to be the one to do it."
