The agonizing ache in your body woke you, it hurt to stand, it hurt to walk, it just hurt. You pushed yourself to walk down the stairs after brushing your hair.
As you stood in the kitchen drinking coffee you let your thoughts roam. And after a moment, you leaned on the counter trying to get the pain that constantly interrupted your thinking to subside.
You lifted your shirt and looked at the purple bruises on your hips from where his hand had held on to you so tightly.
Your back hurt from the constant arch your back had been in. "Have you learned your lesson?" you heard Alastor's voice behind you.
You jumped the tiniest bit upon hearing him, you had thought he was still upstairs. He stood tall while you relied on the counter for weight support. "Yes." you whispered, looking down as a furious blush burned your cheeks. He walked forwards and used his microphone to make you look at him in the eyes. He assessed your gaze for a moment before his own softened.
"Are you okay?" He asked tenderly, a gentle hand pushing your shirt up to examine the aftermath of last night.
"I'll be fine." You responded softly. Alastor grabbed your chin with a soft hand as he gave you a stern and concerned gaze. "If I'm being too rough with you, you need to let me know. I'm a hell of a lot bigger than you are Mel, and I don't want to hurt you."
Alastor held your gaze for a second longer before picking you up and setting you on the counter. His hands gently pulled up on your shirt again, and upon seeing the bruises he'd left behind he cringed the slightest bit.
"Gods Mel," he breathed, gently drawing his fingers over the purple skin, "I'm so sorry." He apologized sincerely.
"It's okay." You assured him, grabbing his hand. "No it's not." Alastor responded. "You have to tell me. Sometimes I don't realize how rough I'm being." He asserted softly.
"Next time I will." You promised.
"Your safe word is purple ok?" Alastor said after a moment, to which you gave a little giggle.
"Ok." You giggled.
"Lucifer has asked if you are coming to the school. He mentioned something about sparing." Alastor sighed after a moment, rubbing your forearms with his hands.
School? What do we need- oh. That's today? You questioned internally before letting out a breath.
Great, just what you needed.
If the school visit was today you had less than an hour to get ready and get there.
Reluctantly you got up and walked back to your room with Alastor following.
If you were going to spar you needed something loose, but you still needed to be presentable as the princess of hell.
After looking for a solid five minutes, you found a white tux and put on a pair of black pants and black heels. When you were satisfied, you made your way to Lucifer downstairs.
Lucifer took on look at you and knew immediately what you were suffering from. "What the hell did he do to you Melinoë?'' Lucifer chuckled, trying not to laugh. "You can barely walk!" he continued with a smile. "Shut the fuck up." you grumbled. "Besides aren't you supposed to be mad?" You snorted in an annoyed tone.
"Do you want me to be mad at him about it?" Lucifer asked with a smile.
"No." You grumbled, knowing it wouldn't end well.
You were in no mood to talk about it. Lucifer offered his arm as he spoke.
"Is Mom coming? Also, what school are we going to?" you asked your father, slipping your hand around his well sculpted arm. "No it's just you, me and Alastor if he wants to come. And we're going to the Eastside, where else would we be going? "he said as Alastor entered the room.
