I'd be lying amaneyugi12345 if I said I didn't absolutely enjoy writing this. Shuichi's easily my favorite character, and I'll admit that I'm a sub so... easily one of my favorite requests yet. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did.

Today's day at school was certainly... interesting to say the least. A senior class

had a student who had cooked some soup for everyone, but it turned out a fellow classmate had decided to sabotage the soup with some aphrodisiacs... Which no one figured out until after they had eaten some.

Miu was even worse than usual, Korekiyo rambled about some things you'd rather forget about, and Tenko was trying to hook up with any and all the girls in the class. Needless to say, it was an exhausting class.

Kirumi had brought back the soup to the dorms and told everyone she'd try to find if there were any ingredients that could cancel out the aphrodisiacs since the soup itself tasted quite nice. No one seemed to be interested in having the soup while it was currently like this, not even Miu surprisingly.

The only one who hadn't experienced the soup was Shuichi. He apparently had an important case to take, and had taken the school day off. You weren't sure when he would return, and had just rested and recovered in your dorm after what had happened.

Meanwhile, Shuichi had just returned from the case. It took a bit longer than expected to solve the case, but what's important was that it was solved. Arriving in the dorms, he found a pot of soup left out on the counter. The pot was still a bit warm, and the aroma was absolutely enticing. Was this some soup Kirumi had made? It's not labeled as anyone's, and he had forgotten to get lunch on the way back...

Pouring himself a bowl of soup, he took a seat on the bar seat and began to eat the food. It was quite delicious, even for Kirumi standards of cooking. Like, it was incredible. It didn't take too long for him to finish the bowl of soup. A couple moments later though, he started to feel weird... fuzzy... This can't be good.

Meanwhile, you had decided to go find Kirumi to ask her to make a snack for you. She had been very insistent to the class to ask her if they needed anything, and you had finally given in on asking her for help.

You hadn't expected to see Shuichi at the bar seat, a bowl of... oh god, that's the soup, isn't it? Based on Shuichi's expression and the state of the bowl being empty; you knew what the results were going to be.

"(Name)... hey... It's nice to see you."

You hesitated slightly, but headed to grab the bowl and place it in the sink. You didn't know where Kirumi was to help, and didn't want to leave him alone in this state. Who knows what Kokichi or Miu would do if they found him like this.

"Yeah, same. Listen, the soup you just ate, it turned out it had aphrodisiacs in it. That's why you may be feeling weird."

Shuichi was barely able to register this, his mind cloudy for the most part. Still, he didn't seem as bad as say Miu or Korekiyo. Even so, you didn't want to take advantage of Shuichi like this; even if you did have a crush on him...

"Is that why I'm feeling so confident? I-I mean, I finally feel able to let you know just how cute you are."

Eh!? You really weren't expecting that response. But maybe it's just the aphrodisiacs talking; yeah, that must be it...

"I've just been too shy to tell you how amazing you are. You're smart, considerate, you don't mind if I get shy at times... I guess what I'm trying to say is that I love you."

You really weren't expecting that. You had to remind yourself that Shuichi was under the influence of aphrodisiacs. Still, that wouldn't make someone suddenly develop a crush, right? The rest of the class still only liked the ones they already liked before having the soup. That means that Shuichi... He actually loves you!
