"How am I supposed to stay calm?!"

Tenko was the type to freak out, but to have it happen on her wedding day was not ideal. She and her girl friends were helping her get dressed in her beautiful wedding dress when she stepped on part of the dress and ripped it. There wasn't time to get a new dress, so her reaction was completely natural.

"Tenko, I can easily fix it. I've repaired a fair share of cosplays in my time; this will be plainly easy compared to them."

Tsumugi got out her sewing materials and white thread before quickly getting to work. Kaede continued to work on Tenko's makeup while Kirumi helped with her hair.

"Tenko, it would be best if you took a couple of deep breaths. Tsumugi is perfectly capable of fixing your dress; everything will be alright. Besides, it's the person wearing the dress Shuichi's marrying, not the dress." Kirumi stated, putting the brush away.

Tenko's hair was taken out of their usual bands, allowed to be free and let down. It was rare that her hair was let down, yet it was so beautiful when it was down.

"I'm just worried something else will go wrong; what if my face crinkles up in a way that makes Shuichi not want to kiss me? What if he changes his mind-"

Kaede was quick to squeeze Tenko's hands, cutting her off as she was given one of Kaede's intense stares.

"Everything's going to be just fine. We're all here for you; just try to enjoy today. A wedding's supposed to be a magical day for the both of you."

As Tenko was nodding softly, Tsumugi pulled away from the dress, putting the lid on her sewing kit.

"There; it's as good as new. No one will know the difference."

Tenko looked in the mirror as she moved back and forth. It was just as Tsumugi said; you couldn't tell that she had ripped it.

"Thank you so much Tsumugi! You're a lifesaver!"

Tsumugi was quick to shake her head, saying that it was the least she could do as the others worked on the finishing touches of her outfit.

"Tenko, it's time." Kirumi stated, having returned from a quick trip to ensure the catering had arrived.

Tenko gulped softly, letting the other girls lead her to the hall. She didn't have her aikido master to walk her down the aisle, and she wasn't aware of the location of her parents so she had the next best person walk with her down the aisle; Himiko.

She didn't care about traditions or what other people would say. This was her wedding so she could walk down with whoever she wanted.

Entering the room, Tenko's eyes landed on Shuichi's. His eyes stared at her in awe as she walked down the aisle, nervously. She had to admit Shuichi looked handsome in his suit; although he still managed to look cute as well. Was it a talent to always look cute?

Once down the aisle, she was quick to grab Shuichi's hands with her own. She was nervous, and her shaking hands were proof enough of that. Her eyes couldn't focus on Shuichi's, her gaze fixated on a spot on the floor.

Shuichi frowns softly, giving Tenko's hands a small squeeze to bring her attention back to him.

"It's okay; you got this. Oh, and... you look beautiful..."

The encouraging words would've helped Tenko relax if it wasn't ruined by the flustering compliment right afterwards. Tenko's face simply flushed more as the usual ceremony began.

As it went on Tenko could only think about how shocking it was that she was marrying a guy. She had hated men for so long, yet when realizing that her master was also a man her thought process had changed. And it was all because of Shuichi bringing that fact to her attention that she realized that -now quite obvious- fact.

Even when she was still anti-men he had been kind and considerate towards her. He helped her when she needed it, and never took offense when she accidentally let out a degenerate males phrase.

With the 'I do's' out of the way, it was soon time for the two to kiss. Of course, Tenko was having issues with being flustered.

"You all need to look away!" She shouted at everyone, feeling incredibly awkward and shy.

"Here... this should help..."

Shuichi and Tenko looked towards Himiko who was holding a giant bouquet in front of the two, blocking the view of them from everyone else.

"Thanks Himiko." Shuichi stated, his gaze still focused on Tenko.

Despite the both of them being nervous, they were able to do their kiss, the bouquet of flowers only being removed after the both of them had pulled away. Both of them had red faces, but their smiles showed that they were happy.

"Congrats sidekick; I'm so proud of you!" Kaito stated, giving Shuichi a slap on his back.

Tenko frowned, moving Shuichi behind her.

"You may be best friends with him, but anyone that hurts Shuichi will have to face me!"

Shuichi smiled softly, placing a hand softly on Tenko's shoulder.

"I appreciate the concern, but it's fine. How about we head over to get some of the catering? I'm sure the cake Kirumi prepared will be amazing."

Tenko nods softly.

"Well duh; anything Kirumi prepares is amazing!"

Grabbing Shuichi's hand, Tenko begins to lead Shuichi to the table where the cake was. This was the start of their life together, and Tenko would be charging head-first in. Shuichi may not be as gung-ho as her, but he'll remain by her side no matter what; that's what you do when you love someone.
