Makoto smiled softly as he finally arrived at the front door of his partner's house. The two had planned to hang out since it was the weekend, and neither of them had any plans. He had run the last bit, so he had to take a moment to catch his breath before knocking on the door. Even though he had been told he could just use the hidden key to enter, he'd rather knock and let them be the one to let him in.

When you opened the door to see your loving boyfriend, you smiled. He always waited for you to open the door; unnecessary, but very sweet.

"Good morning Makoto. I actually just finished breakfast for the both of us."

They had planned to eat breakfast together, but Makoto had thought he'd be helping to prepare the breakfast. He enters the house, taking his shoes off near the front door.

"That's very sweet of you, but you could've waited until I arrived. I would've been more than willing to help you make breakfast."

You smiled, leading Makoto to the kitchen where a plate of freshly prepared pancakes were stacked up. Syrup was there if either of you wanted it, as well as butter and whipped cream.

"I know that you would; you're just sweet like that. Still, I figured it'd be better to have breakfast ready for you by the time you arrived."

Makoto smiled, his face a bit red from the compliment. He reaches over and gives you a quick kiss on the cheek. You also became flustered after the kiss.

"Well it looks wonderful. I can't wait to dig in."

"I agree."

The both of you were quick to dress your plates in the way you preferred, Makoto going down the cheesy route and making a heart out of whipped cream. He was such a dork, but he was your dork.

"They're as delicious as they look. Thank you (Name); it was yummy."

You smile.

"I'm glad you think so."

As the both of you were clearing your dishes, Makoto took to cleaning the dishes. You insisted that it wasn't necessary, but he wouldn't budge.

"It's fine; this is the least I can do after you made this delicious breakfast. We were going to start watching that new show, right? How about you go get that set up so after I finish these dishes we can start immediately?"

Knowing Makoto wouldn't back down on this, you nodded softly. Heading to the living room, you grabbed the remote and pulled up the streaming service that had the TV series you had planned to watch. Makoto enjoyed watching the shows you were interested in, and you both seemed to be interested in starting this new show.

With the TV show set up, you decided to grab some extra pillows as well as blankets for the both of you to use. At this rate you'd end up in a fort comprising of blankets and pillows.

"Alright, I'm done."

You jumped slightly, startled with Makoto's sudden entrance.

"Oh, I'm sorry... I didn't mean to startle you."

You shook your head.

"It's alright; I know you weren't trying to scare me. I got the show set up."

"Let's do this then."

The both of you got on the couch, quickly snuggling up to each other. The blankets and pillows made it extra comfy. It really felt like you were resting on a puffy cloud, with the other right next to them.

"I'll start the show then."

Grabbing the nearby remote, you pressed the play button. You moved closer to Makoto, snuggling into his chest. He gave you a flustered smile, and moved an arm around you to pull you in closer.

The show started, and for the next couple of hours the both of you simply enjoyed each other's company. There were a couple of romantic scenes that made the both of you flustered, but other than that the show was quite enjoyable. At some point though you both started to get hungry.

"How about I order a pizza?"

"Sounds great. I'll order it."

You paused, trying to stop Makoto. The both of you had the problem of trying to pay for everything. At the end of it all you used a coin-flipping app to decide who would order; Makoto won; he made sure to order half of the pizza with what toppings you wanted. For his half he just ordered pepperoni; a common topping, but he admits himself that he's 'pretty ordinary'.

The two of you watched the show as you waited for the pizza to arrive. When it did, you both climbed out of the fort to get it and prepare some plates for the pizza. You had your half, and Makoto had your half.

You weren't sure what got into Makoto, but he decided to go bold and hold one of your pieces towards your mouth.

"Say ahh..."

He was just as embarrassed as you were, but the gesture was cute so you let it slide. You took a bite of your pizza, before doing the same to him with his pizza slice. This is the kind of thing you see couples do in movies, right? Regardless, the both of you had a fun time feeding each other their pizzas.

When the both of you had finished eating you returned to the pillow fort. Finding yourself comfortable once again, you started the TV show again. Snuggled up with each other, it seemed like today was turning out to be the perfect day.

The only thing that 'ruined' it was when you both woke up later, realizing you had fallen asleep while the show had continued playing and now you had no idea where you were in the show. Oh well, no harm in that; guess you'll just have to do this again next week. Doesn't sound too bad, does it?
