This was requested by shshdhdhdbdshazhxh I'm sorry for the wait, but I hope it'll be worth it. You didn't give any specifications, so I just had to wing it haha. I wouldn't categorize this in any specific genre, but if I did have to choose it'd be in a fluff-style. I hope you enjoy! As always, requests are open; please put them all in the request chapter, or private message if you're shy -that's perfectly fine-.

When you ask someone if they think they'll actually be in a relationship with their crush, most of the time the answer is 'no'. It may be because of insecurities the person may have, or it could be that the person in question is already in a relationship with someone else. Regardless of the reasoning, most people don't expect the person they admire to actually feel the same towards them. Although there are those lucky few who do manage to be with the person they like...

"Hey Darling, how about you and I go check out that new movie that just came out. We can enjoy some time together, and go back to my place to enjoy the evening together?"

I backed away, knowing what this guy's intentions were. He had been flirting and suggesting I have some 'fun' with him for a while now, but he didn't seem to get that I had no intention of going with him. I know that there are pushy people in the world, but this guy was on another level entirely.

"I really must be going... Besides, you don't really want to be with me, right?"

Despite my worried tone, I had a feeling that this guy was going to keep pressuring me until I said yes. I didn't want to go with him, but if I'm quite literally being backed into a wall then maybe-

"(Name)! I'm so glad I found you! I've been looking everywhere for you!"

I turned my head to see Ibuki rushing over to the both of us, latching her arms around me before I could even react. If I hadn't been so close to a wall I may have fallen over from the impact of her body colliding with mine.

I could tell my cheeks were heating up, but luckily Ibuki wasn't focused on that. We've known each other for a while, meeting at Hope's Peak and becoming best friends since then. I do wish that we could be closer, but I wouldn't dare risk our friendship for something like that if we're perfectly fine as is.

"Hey Ibuki, I didn't know you would be here today. Were you wanting to watch that new movie?"

I could tell that the guy wanted to speak, but Ibuki beat him to it. She turned around to face him, still keeping a semi-tight grip on my arm. It was almost as if she was claiming me as hers.

"Of course I was! When I saw the new trailer my heart was all 'thump, thump thump!'. Still, why is this guy trying to get you to watch it with him? You did mention how we're dating, right? We lesbians gotta stick together!"

What...?! Why would she...? Oh, she must be wanting to help me get away from this guy. Still, to hear her say something like that with so much sincerity that even I could be fooled...

"R-Right... I forgot to mention that... My bad."

Seeing how close the two of us were, the guy finally decided to give it up, walking away. At least he wasn't the type to try to pry someone away when they were in a happy relationship with someone else. Well, at least thinking they were in a relationship...

"I'm glad I could help you, but now you gotta buy me an extra large popcorn. I need the energy of the yummy popcorn!"

I couldn't help but chuckle softly, although I did notice that Ibuki still had a firm grip on my arm. The guy was long gone by now, so why would she need to keep up this act.

"Sure Ibuki... But you don't need to keep the grip on my arm... He's gone now.."

I was surprised to see Ibuki pouting, leaning in closer to me. I could feel my heart beating even faster, knowing how red my face must surely be by now.

"Aw...! Are you saying you don't want to actually date me? I'd rather us not just date for two seconds to get that guy away..."

I hesitated when I heard this, clearly not expecting to hear those words escape from Ibuki's mouth. There's no way right...?

"You're not messing with me, right?"

Ibuki pulled away for a second, but only so she could look me directly in the eyes. She then grabbed my hand, forcing it to lay on her chest. My face instantly heated up, not sure how to react.

"I'd never lie to you. We'll become the power couple that'll rock the music world!"

Knowing that she wasn't lying, I shyly nodded. I was barely able to get out an 'I like you too', before Ibuki was dragging me to the line to get her that extra large popcorn.

Relationships always tend to start in the weirdest ways when you think about it. It's almost rarely a simple conversation where the two discuss liking each other and begin dating. There's embarrassment, flushed faces, and racing heartbeats.

That's not to say I'd have it any other way. I'm happy with Ibuki, and with how open she is I know she's happy with me as well. Although after dating for two years, it's easy to see how happy the both of us are. Still, I can't help but wonder...

"(Name)! Stop writing in that journal of yours. We're going to be late for our reservation!"

Chuckling softly, I set down my journal as I headed out of my room to see Ibuki waiting for me. She was in a gorgeous suit that used the tie to express her colorful side. It was a miracle she wore a normal black suit, but I'd have to admit she did look rather good in it. I was in a (Suit/Dress), feeling like it'd be nice to (match/not match) with Ibuki's outfit.

The two of us reserved a table at a fancy restaurant. We were able to get in quite easily because the owner of the restaurant was a fan of Ibuki's music; he even offered us a free bottle of wine when we arrived. Although I'm unsure how hyper Ibuki could become with alcohol in her system...

"(Name), can I ask you something before we sit down?"

I hesitated, as I was about to sit down at the table. I looked over to her, concerned about what could be wrong.

"Sure, what's up?"

Ibuki actually seemed flustered about something, making me wonder if she didn't like the classy atmosphere of this place.

"I was wondering if instead of this being another date, if it could instead be our first date as an engaged couple?"

Before I could even register what was happening, Ibuki was down on one knee, pulling out a ring box.

"I know that we originally started our relationship as a ploy to get some pushy guy away from you, but I'd like if we could keep that story going. This time though, I want it to be a reality. (Name), will you marry me?"

Even with how shocked I was, I didn't hesitate to say yes. People around us clapped softly as Ibuki placed the ring on my hand and gave my hand a kiss.

"Yahoo! Let's enjoy some fancy food now!"

I chuckled softly at her hyperness, the both of us sitting down at the table as the waiter approached to take our order. Still, it was hard to think of what to eat knowing that we'd be getting married soon. It seems like I was one of those lucky few that got together with their crush in the end...

And I wouldn't have it any other way.
