Soaring_Lily1, you never specified what kind of comfort you wanted this to be about, so I went with something I'm sure a lot of people could relate to. I hope you enjoy.

~ ~ ~

You gently placed the cup of (drink) down, taking a deep sigh. You sat at a table with a half-circle booth around a circle table, looking towards the entrance of the café, waiting. Fuyuhiko was planning to meet you here, but he was now five minutes late.

As if being able to sense your worry, Fuyuhiko raced inside the café, being loud enough to grab everyone's attention. Peko was quick to point you out to him, and he was quick to head over to your table. Peko found a seat at a nearby, smaller table. She was the 'lookout', as the yakuza don't want to leave Fuyuhiko vulnerable. Despite that, she gives you two space, knowing he'd want alone time with his girlfriend; well, as alone as he can get.

"I'm sorry I'm late. The meeting I had with some executives went on longer than anticipated; I told them that next time they made me late for a date it'd be their final date... to live."

You smile softly.

"You don't have to do that... But I appreciate the gesture. I understand that your

talent leaves you quite busy. Sometimes I wonder if you'd be better with someone who could understand the struggles you go through."

Unlike Fuyuhiko, you were a normal person. No ultimate talent, no 'ins' to become famous. Your parents were pretty rich though; it's only because of this that you were able to attend Hope's Peak in the reserve course. If you hadn't been able to attend then you never would've been able to meet Fuyuhiko.

Fuyuhiko frowns, reaching to take one of your hands in his.

"Don't even start. You're wonderful just the way you are; for being you. I'll say it as many times as I have to."

You nodded meekly.

"Yeah, thanks..."

The waiter came, interrupting you both briefly to take Fuyuhiko's order. He had to take a moment due to his allergies, but he was eventually able to find something he liked. After the waiter left the both of you were able to continue your discussion.

"Don't think I haven't noticed; (Name), you've seemed down ever since I've arrived. Is something bothering you?"

You averted your gaze, having trouble looking directly at Fuyuhiko. You knew what he was saying was right; something was bothering you. Even so, you didn't want to bother him with your problems.

"I... I'm fine-"

"Don't bullshit me (Name). I want to help you with whatever it is. Even if it's silly, stupid, or something completely random, I want to help you. Please, just tell me what's going on."

You frowned softly, your lower lip quivering. You could tell that if you told him that you'd cry, but you also knew there was no avoiding this. Taking a deep breath, you began.

"My grades... They've been slipping the past few months. My highest grade is a C... I worry that if my grades fall too far that I'll be kicked out of Hope's Peak... wasting all of my parent's money. Plus, I wouldn't b-be able to see you as often..."

Fuyuhiko gave you a concerned expression, rubbing circles on the top of your hand that he had been holding with his thumb. Just something small to let you know that he was there and that he was listening.

"I feel like I've tried everything... I just don't know what to do a-anymore..."

You could feel the tears beginning to form. Fuyuhiko saw this and scooted in closer to you. He used his free hand to wipe away your tears, soon pulling you in for a hug.

"I'm sorry you're dealing with that. I can understand why you'd be stressed about something like that. If you'd like, I can help tutor you. And if I don't know the material... I'll just hire someone who can help you."

You gave a weak smile to Fuyuhiko, trying not to make a scene in the café. It seems like Peko had noticed you struggling emotionally, because suddenly the waiter brought a parfait for you. When asking who had bought it, he motioned over to Peko.

"I'll have to thank her later..."

Fuyuhiko smiled softly, letting you enjoy your parfait as he pulled out his phone. He was searching for someone who could help tutor you in your classes; the best money could buy. It's his yakuza money; he can do with it what he chooses.

"I've already found over twenty qualified tutors to help you. You can choose your favorite."

He passes you his phone to let you scroll through the ones he had picked out. You couldn't help but smile, thinking of how much effort Fuyuhiko was going through to help you get through this. He recognized that the ultimate classes didn't have to do much in terms of tests and schoolwork, so he was using his connections to find someone who could.

"I think... Her. She seems nice."

Fuyuhiko nods.

"Understood. I'll make the appointment. I'll be sure to help you through this. I'm sure if we work together on this that we can raise your grades."

"I hope you're right..."

Fuyuhiko smiles widely.

"Of course I am. When it comes to you I'll never give up."

Your face heats up, Fuyuhiko reaching over to give you a quick kiss. You try to calm yourself, taking another bite of the parfait. It really was good.

"I'll make sure to put in the effort to raise my grades; it's the least I can do given how much you're doing for me."

"I'm just doing my best for my girlfriend."

Feeling yourself genuinely cheered up, you two were able to talk about various topics. You could worry about the homework later when you had the tutor to help you.

A couple weeks passed, and you had received an updated report card. It was in an envelope which you were going to open up with Fuyuhiko. Meeting up at the same café as before, you opened the envelope, immensely nervous.

"Let's see..."

You had all B's with one A. Compared to your grades that before were C's and below, this was an incredible improvement.

"My... My grades went up! Thank you so much Fuyuhiko!"

You hugged Fuyuhiko tightly, a wide smile on your face.

"Of course (Name), but it wasn't just me. You put in the effort to raise your grades; I just gave some support to make sure you were on the right track."

To celebrate you both ordered some sweets at the café. Of course it was hard to find one without dairy, but it was possible. It makes sense to celebrate after achieving something difficult; you truly don't know where you'd be without Fuyuhiko in your life to help you.
