I'll be honest with you -blackypinko_666, this is probably the hardest request I've done yet. It's not that I can't do ships I don't personally ship (I certainly don't ship this), but I had trouble finding any basis for the ship to even be formed. I still tried my hardest though, so I hope you'll like it regardless.

It's never easy to lose the one you love, the person you care about the most. Fuyuhiko and Hiyoko felt this stronger than anyone else at the moment; they both just lost the person they were the closest to on this hellhole of an island. Fuyuhiko lost Peko, and Hiyoko lost Mahiru.
For Fuyuhiko, Peko was one of the few people he had ever been able to depend on. She had been there for him since they were kids. Because she was instructed to protect him, because she came to Hope's Peak with him... She's died. She wouldn't have been brought into this mess if it weren't for him...
For Hiyoko, Mahiru was the only person she could tolerate on the island. She didn't have many friends growing up, and it wasn't changing much now that she was in high school. The boys were stupid or disgusting perverts, and most of the girls were simply annoying; especially that pig Mikan. Mahiru had truly been the only person to see past her outer shell and get to know her, and now she's gone... And it's all Fuyuhiko's fault. Peko may have been the one to do the blow, but she was working under Fuyuhiko; so he's the one to blame.
Hiyoko hadn't been going out as of late after the trial, but she decided one evening that it was finally time. No one would be out, and as such she could go to her destination without anyone bothering her. She didn't dally around, and just headed straight to her destination; the hospital.
Fuyuhiko was still resting there after being patched up by Monokuma after racing in for Peko during her execution. Even Hiyoko had to admit that what he did... showed that he wasn't a completely horrible person. She's unsure if she could have the courage to do that for Mahiru; or if she could do that for her...
Mikan had already headed back to her room, making it so she wouldn't have to see that pig. That's good, because she's really not in the mood to see her.
It wasn't long before Hiyoko arrived at the hospital, entering and heading towards where Fuyuhiko was. It took checking a couple different rooms, but she finally found him. He was still awake, a small lamp light illuminating a book he seemed to be reading. He looked towards Hiyoko, frowning.
"What the fuck are you doing here?"
Hiyoko frowned. He really was the rudest, wasn't he?
"Last I checked there's no rule saying I can't come in here. Stop being so fucking vulgar."
"Look who's talking, bitch."
"You say I'm the bitch, but I'm not the type to have others kill for me."
Fuyuhiko hesitates, but quickly retorts back.
"Maybe if you weren't so fucking unlikable then others would've been there to help you. No one wants to be around a fucking brat who's as childish as her looks."
Hiyoko was fuming, but to be fair Fuyuhiko wasn't much better.
"Look who's talking, babyface!"
The two kept going at it for quite a while, until they finally stopped to catch their breath.
"You could never understand how hard it is for me. I've known Peko my entire life; you just met Mahiru. The connection you two had was nothing compared to mine with Peko."
"At least you've had someone with you throughout your life. I've been lonely my entire life."
"I can probably guess why if you've been anything like how you've been since you arrived here; maybe try being a bit nicer and others will want to be your friend."
"And yet Mahiru wanted to be my friend."
"Yeah, but I saw that you asked differently around her; you just don't want to admit that to get more friends you'd have to be kinder to others."
Hiyoko did a quiet 'hmph', folding her arms.
"Aren't you the same though; you haven't been Mr. Friendly either."
"There's a difference between avoiding people and insulting them in between every other sentence."
At this point the two would start arguing again. Seeing this, Fuyuhiko stopped it quickly.
"Look, it's clear that the both of us need to improve if we want friends."
"Thanks captain obvious." Hiyoko rolled her eyes. "What do you suggest we do then?"
"We can help to remind each other to be better. If I see you acting poorly I'll remind you, and you can remind me if I'm acting poorly."
"Do you honestly think that'll work?"
Fuyuhiko shrugs his shoulders.
"I'm not completely sure, but it's at least worth a shot. Unless you'd rather stick to yourself and become a target."
Hiyoko scowls.
"Fine, but you better keep on your end of the deal or you'll get it."
Fuyuhiko sighs softly.
"Same goes for you."
The two wouldn't say that they're friends, but rather accomplices in this attempt for the both of them to find a friend within the other students. They'd work together, at least for the meantime...
