"I love you Adelyn," Luca whispers. His words are like a breath of fresh air, giving me a sense of clarity as butterflies swarm my stomach.
He loves me. He fucking loves me. My Luca loves me.
"I love you Luca," I whisper, our lips brushing against each other as he holds me close. I feel him smile against my lips, pure joy written on his face as he presses a kiss onto my lips.
"Fuck Adelyn, I love you so much," he murmurs, not letting me reply as he continues to kiss me, "I've loved you ever since I lost you, I love every single goddamn part of you. It scares me how much I love you, the control you have over me, the fear that you won't love me back. But fuck I won't ever stop telling you now, I fucking love you Adelyn. I love you more than anyone on this earth,"
I can't bring myself to speak as I wrap my arms around his neck, wrapping my legs around his torso as he picks me up. "I love you too Luca," I chuckle, culling his cheeks in my hands as I plant kisses all across his face, littering kisses on him as he has for me so many times before.
He laughs and doesn't attempt to get out of my grasp as I scatter kisses onto his face, trying not to smile too hard as I feel joy overriding all
emotions.
I run out of breath and rest my head against his shoulder, "I'm clean again, let's get out," I sigh happily, wriggling out of Luca's arms as he turns the shower off and steps out, hugging a towel around me as I step out after him.
I pat myself dry and wrap my towel around me, walking out to our walk-in-robe to choose what I'll wear for the rest of the day.
I settle on some bike shorts and one of Luca's hoodies. I hear whistling and see Luca walking out of the bathroom with a pair of grey sweats hanging loosely around his waist, giving a slight glimpse of his V-line.
Fuck he's so handsome.
I let my eyes travel down his body, his tanned skin covered with tattoos, each one with a different meaning. His tones abs complimented by the tattoos as his body moves swiftly. His messy black hair and green eyes standing out against his body.
He's so pretty.
"Done staring?" he asks, a smirk playing on his lips as he looks at me. "For now," I reply innocently, loving the excited look which flashes in his eyes.
He chuckles and walks over to me, putting an arm around my waist as he walks me out of the bedroom, "Dinner?" he asks me, to which I nod my head.
"What do you want tonight mi amour?" he asks me as we walk into the kitchen. "I didn't think I could ever miss a dish of food so much, but when I was in Russia all I wanted was your pasta," I tell him, blushing as he smirks in response.
"I knew you loved my cooking," he mutters, turning the kitchen light on. I let out a small laugh at how proud he is of his cooking and sit myself on the bench space next to the stove, letting my legs dangle.
I watch as Luca moves in and out of cupboards and drawers, finding everything needed to make his famous pasta. Possibly one of my favourite dishes of all time.
Luca fills a saucepan with water and puts it to boil, giving me a peck on the lips as he passes me. I can't help but smile as I watch him, so peaceful as he begins making the pasta sauce, concentration covering his face as he follows the recipe passed down from generation to generation. Once which will no doubt be passed onto our kids.
I have no doubt that Luca will ask me to marry him again, and this time it'll be the first wedding in which I want to happen, the first wedding where I will be marrying a man who I love and who loves me.
