"I look forward to it."

"I would too," Lady Beneviento giggled as she finished writing down the last measurement. "I have everything, and I can adjust the current suits I brought over — since this one's already adjusted now — so they fit better until I can get these new ones made."

"Thank you," I whispered and stepped over to lady Dimitrescu. "And thank you, my lady. You have no idea how much this means to me."

"Will Hunter need anything?"

"...If she ever does, she'll let you know, my lady."

The lady nodded before dismissing me — requesting that I start getting the garden ready for spring. Once I was out of the room, I readjusted the suit jacket slightly — needing something to fidget with as I walked. 'Nearly spring already? Mom will be heading to Olympus soon,' I frowned and glanced out the window when I reached my room. '...I wonder if she'll swing by to try and see me — I hope so, at least.'

I stepped outside after grabbing a pair of gloves, shutting the door quickly to not let the cold air get in too fast. 'Alright, let's see what we have to work with,' My feet carried me around the side of the castle and to the garden, bringing a smile to my face. 'It's nice to be out of the castle — the heat inside plus my powers? I felt like melting.'

A cold gust blew some snow through the air, making me scoff in amusement before I moved to grab an axe. 'I guess I can start with taking down any trees still damaged from the recent storms,' My eyes drifted to a tree with at least five branches snapped in half. 'At least they seem to have stopped, but the damage is... Gonna take a while to fix.' I moved over to the tree and lifted the axe to swing it, a soft grunt leaving me after I pulled the blade out of the trunk to continue the action.

POV: Cassandra

'Not here either!' I growled as I slammed my hands onto the vanity. 'Where could my paintbrushes be?! Only I clean them! Who-?!' My thoughts stopped as the consistent thumping of something hitting wood reached my ears, only managing to irritate me further. 'When I find out-!'

'Oh,' I stopped in my tracks at the window, watching Isa as they swung the axe at the tree again. 'Well, this is more interesting than looking for my paintbrushes.' After moving a chair to the window, I sat down and watched them, a sigh leaving me. 'Why do you have to be human? Wait... They're gonna get sick! Why are they out there without a proper coat?!'

"Lady Cassandra?" Hunter's voice snapped me out of my thoughts, making my head snap over to her. "I uhm... I found these in the servant's room."

My eyes widened when she held up my paintbrushes. "Who had those?!"

"They were on Isa's bed — but, I can promise you they didn't steal them."

"How can you promise that?"

"...My lady, Isa is a lot of things, but an artist is not one of those. They can barely draw a stick figure — and even when they do, it's never straight."

'Odd thing to point out,' I thought when she emphasized 'straight'. "Okay, any idea who did steal them?"

Hunter seemed to ponder the question for a moment before eventually shrugging. "I wish I knew, my lady. Perhaps lady Daniela might be able to assist you? She's been moving about the castle more often than usual today, perhaps she saw something?"

The piercing scream of a maid reached our ears and brought a smile to my face, causing me to stand and walk over to Hunter. After taking my paintbrushes from her, I thanked her and began my walk to the atelier, giggling to myself when I heard Daniela threatening a maid. 'Sounds like Dani found the maid for me! Perfect.'

POV: Isa

My head snapped to the castle when a scream reached my ears, causing me to stop and glance at any window that would let me see inside the castle. When my eyes landed on Hunter, I relaxed a bit. 'Okay, wasn't her being hunted, that's good. But what's she doing in there? That's too close to the atelier, lady Cassandra's gonna be pissed if she catches her there.'

Hunter was gone from the window a moment later, allowing me to focus on chopping the tree down again. 'Don't think too much about it — probably just a human messing up like always,' I told myself as I swung the axe again and stepped back, letting the tree fall. With a low sigh, I moved along the length of the tree, stopping near a branch to chop it off of the trunk. 'Might as well grab what can be used as firewood,' I thought and lifted the branch onto my shoulder. 'Being half god comes with its perks sometimes.'

"Seriously?" Hunter's voice made me jump — which caused the branch to nearly fall. "You couldn't wait for me to get out here and help?"

"I can carry it! But, if you're gonna help, mind grabbing more for me? I'll carry them back if you chop them," I beamed as she rolled her eyes.

"...You're so adorably idiotic, did you know that?"

"I'm still a princess, you know? I can punish you."

"Kinky!" Hunter purred as she took the axe. "But, we have a job to do."

I sent her a small glare as my heart skipped a beat at her words, letting her begin chopping down more branches. Time flew and soon enough, we had enough branches. Hunter took a few branches before following me to a section near the castle that didn't have snow. I took the axe from Hunter and asked her to start on lunch while I chopped the branches into firewood.

'I should've asked her why she was near the atelier... Oh well, I'll ask her later,' I thought to myself before moving a branch and removing the smaller parts first. After that, I lifted the axe and swung down — continuing that pattern until I had enough logs to carry in. 'At least I can restock the most used fireplaces.'

POV: Cassandra

A door opening caught my attention, making me stay back until the door shut. I looked around the corner and noticed Isa — biting my lower lip to keep any sounds inside when they ran a hand through their hair. 'That damn uniform hides more of their body,' When I deemed it safe enough, I stepped from around the corner and leaned against the wall, making them jump slightly when they saw me.

"I-I got wood for you, m-my lady."

"...Just for me?" I purred and moved over to them, grabbing their chin between my fingers. "How sweet — I could just kiss you for that!"

Isa's face turned pink as they stumbled over their words, pulling a giggle out of me. 'Cute!'

"Well, you can give me your wood after you buy me dinner — whenever that'll be."
