"Isa," Cassandra's voice reached my ears. "Isa, wake up."

"It's my day off," I whined, burying my face in the pillow. 'Your Mother took my challenge to heart and has been giving me every chore she can.'

A giggle left the vampire before she kissed my cheek. "I guess you don't want to hear Costin."

"Hm?"

"His babbling is better today — it almost sounded like he was trying to say 'Mama.'"

I slowly opened my eyes and groaned, smiling when she giggled. "That is a good reason to wake up. I just need the motivation to get up."

Cassandra rolled her eyes before stealing a kiss. "Nice try, but it's Daniela's day, remember?"

"Then get her and tell her to be my motivation."

"Your son's potentially about to say his first word, and you want me to get Dani because you're too tired to get up?"

Cassandra rolled her eyes and picked me up, swarming me to Hunter's room before tossing me on the couch. I groaned, pouting at the vampire as she left before looking at Hunter, smiling her way when she raised an eyebrow.

"Didn't want to wake up?" Hunter teased before looking at Costin. "He moves his arms when he tries to speak — if he talks with his hands like you do, I'm suing you."

"What's wrong with talking with your hands?!" I whined before making my way over to the bed. "I wanted Dani to motivate me to get out of bed."

"Nothing, I just like teasing you about it. You're so gay."

"...So are you?! Costin, tell your Mommy to be nice to me."

Costin cooed and babbled, making me smile and brush a thumb over his cheek. 'Okay, yeah, I see what they mean when they say he's adorable when he babbles.'

"Tell your Mama they need to stop sleeping in on their days off," Hunter scolded. "Otherwise, they'll miss watching you grow up."

"Okay, you got me there," I grumbled, glancing over my shoulder when the door opened. "Hey, Dani."

"Hey," Daniela swarmed over before pecking my cheek, letting her eyes drift to Costin when he cooed at her. "Hi, little man!"

Costin giggled, making my heart warm. 'You're such a happy baby.'

"I heard you didn't want to get up," The vampire hummed and pinched my cheek. "Even with the possibility of your son saying his first word?!"

"I needed motivation to get out of bed," I pouted.

"That wasn't-?! Oh," A flustered buzz left the vampire, earning a smirk from me. "You're insufferable sometimes."

"I haven't had sex since he was conceived; forgive me for wanting a nice view in the morning."

"It's afternoon," Hunter corrected. "We all agreed to let you sleep in, but we weren't expecting you to stay asleep for so long."
