Not Me [Empires S1] (Fluff|Hurt) {WitherHusbands}

Starts with some fluff, but ends with hurt... But, wooooo witherhusbands!

First oneshot since being back. I have a bunch of unfinished oneshots that I tried writing... Sooooo, out of my unfinished oneshots would you prefer (It's all HC), Bdubs angst, Joehills and Cleo angst/AU, Pride agender Iskall fluff, or (This last one is Limited life) part 2 of "Mom Wouldn't Aprove" You can mention in the comments if you want one specificly. Imma try to finish them all but I don't know which to start with.

Sausage leaned against the railing, sighing contently. His eyes stared at a certain someone not far away, a smile creeping onto his face.

"Ahhhh!!! Gem, I'm sorry! Your hat isn't that big!" fWhip yelled, running quickly away from his sister.

Pearl let out a warm chuckle, taking a spot next to Sausage. "Those two crazy, huh?"

"Huh?" Sausage pried his eyes away from one of the twins, facing to the light brunette, "Oh, yeah. You know how siblings can be."

"Mhmmm..." Pearl handed a mug to Sausage, him taking it gratefully. She took a sip from her own mug, "Y'know, Sausage... You seem a bit more distracted as of late."

"I do?"

"Yes you do!" Pearl nudged the king, "You are staring at something- or someone, aren't you?"

A pink crept over Sausage's face, his eyes shifting to stare into the mug of warm tea. "I'm not s-sure what you mean..."

"It's always when it's us wither rose alliance, or with all the emperors..." Pearl mumbled, glancing out to the twins. Gem had tackled fWhip to the ground, the two yelling playfully. "You see Gem more of a mentor and close friend... does that mean..."

Sausage didn't pay much mind to Pearl's rambling, staring out to the playful twins, a smile still on his face.

"You like fWhip!?"

"Huh- What was that?" Sausage turned back to his sunflower adorned friend.

"You like fWhip, don't you!?"

The pink fading into a red, "Ha- W-what makes you think that? I- I wouldn't-"

"You like fWhip."

"Ok, fine... Y-yeah, I do..." Sausage mumbled, glancing back to the twins.

"Sausage!!! Help- Help me!" fWhip yelled, Gem whacking him over the head with her staff. fWhip was pinned down with Gem sitting on his back, "Apologize!" "I did!"

Sausage chuckled, "fWhip, remember, she can't hear your sorrys through that hat of hers! It's sound proofing!"

fWhip attempted to push his sister off him, just resulting in her hitting him over the head. "Owww! Gem, that hurts!" "Genuinely apologize, and then I might let you up!" "Hmph! I'm sorry, Gem! Please let me get up!"

Pearl laughed, watching the bickering between the siblings. Eventually Gem let fWhip get back up, fWhip dusting off his coat. "Phew..."

Pearl placed her mug on the railing, walking down to where the two of them were fooling around. "You two are so chaotic. Please, make sure not to make a mess of my wheat."

"I would never dare to." Gem mentioned, "Not sure 'bout fWhip."

"I wouldn't! I'm not that mean!"

Pearl chuckled, looking between the two twins. An awkward silence soon fell over them, only broken when fWhip asked, "When's Sausage getting back...?"

"What, missing him?" Pearl teasing, a pink creeping over the dragon hybrid's face.

"What- no!" fWhip crossed his arms defensively.

Pearl gasped slightly, "Do you like Sausage!?" Gem gasped, a smile on her face, "Oooh, do you?"

"What- why would I like Sausage... I- I don't like him!"

"You do like him!" Gem pushed him teasingly, "You definitely like him!"

Footsteps were heard, Sausage soon coming into view. fWhip quickly rushed to hide behind Sausage, his face red. "You alright?" Sausage questioned with a slight chuckle.

"They're teasing me!" fWhip him to brunette.

"Oh, about what?"

"fWhip has a crush!" Gem told him, a teasing smile on her face.

"Oh?" Sausage looked to fWhip, "Who is it? Who is it?"

"I'm not going to tell you!"

"Awwww, come on! I can keep secrets! Pleassseeee!"

"No!"

Sausage slumped onto the floor. "What should I even do!? It's hopeless!" Sausage let out a long sigh, glancing to the throne next to him. "He has a crush... I doubt it's me, and he wouldn't even tell me so I have no idea who!"

Bubbles slipped off from her throne, sitting at Sausage's side, licking at his hand. "Come on, you know as well as I do that it wouldn't be me..."

Bubbles curled up, resting her head onto Sausage's lap. Sausage gently pet along her fur, "Please, I know it isn't me... Do you really think he would like me?"

"You should tell him." Gem mentioned, nudging fWhip likely, "Comeon, stop moping."

"Do you really think he would..." fWhip asked quietly, glancing up to his sister, "I mean, think about it... He's this cool, fun king, assassin, and sorcerer... I'm just-"

"Don't think down about yourself! You are just as cool, and amazing!"

"Whatever..."
