German and Thunder [HC 7](Fluff){Bdoc}

Another Bdoc fanfic!

Like I had said in another chapter: I don't know German, and just used google translate so it might be slightly wrong! I will add what it's supposed to mean in the comments (And I'll actually remember to do it this time.) If you know German, and you can tell something is wrong, please feel free to mention how it would actually be said in the comments!

Rain poured down from the dark clouds, hitting the roof with loud splats. A long sigh was drawn out from the builder's lips. "I can't build today in this weather..." He mumbled.

"You could, you just don't want to." Doc pointed out.

Bdubs turned away from the window, biting back a snarky comment at the hybrid, "I'd get all wet if I did. Plus, it's so muddy out there!"

Doc shrugged, Bdubs soon flopping down onto the couch next to him. "Why are you even in my house?" Bdubs questioned.

"I came to your house to drop off payment, and you dragged me in." Doc scoffed, adding, "You thought it was a bad idea for me to work in the rain. It's your fault I'm here."

"If something scratches your arm or eye, it could get fried!" Bdubs pointed out, "And you've admitted yourself that you don't like having to clean your robot arm!"

A sigh escaped Doc's lips as he stared at the freckled builder for a few moments. "Wie habe ich mich in jemanden wie dich verliebt..?"

"What?" Bdubs and Doc went quiet for a moment, before Bdubs questioned again, "What does that mean?"

"Nothing, nothing. Just random things..." Doc muttered, before adding, "Du bist so süß, wenn du mich überbehütest."

"Seriously, what are you saying?" Bdubs playfully pushed Doc, the tall man letting out a few chuckles.

"Nothing to worry about, mein liebling."

"You've called me that before. What does it mean?"

"Doesn't matter." Doc brushed it off, a slight blush over his cheeks.

Bdubs turned, leaning back so that his head laid on Doc's lap. "Tell me!!!" "Nope." "Please!" Bdubs looked up at Doc, his eyes large and slightly watery. Bdubs' puppy dog eyes... Even harder to resist than Ren's puppy dog eyes.

"I- Um- Well..." Doc paused, before finally telling Bdubs something, "The thing I keep calling you. Mein liebling. It... Uh- it means my darling."

Bdubs' cheeks flushed pink, "Y-you've been calling me your darling?"

"Mhm. Do... Do you want me to stop?" Doc questioned.

"No!" Bdubs responded quickly.

Doc hummed a note, letting out a sigh. The two looked at each other for a few moments.

CRACK

Lightning struck, loud thundering echoing. Bdubs jumped, burying his head into Doc's chest. Doc slowly wrapped his arms around Bdubs' waist, as more thunder rolled. The German could feel the small builder shaking. "Bdubs, are you scared of thunder?"

Bdubs quickly pushed himself off Doc, though still held close with Doc's arm. "No, I'm not!" More lightning hit, Bdubs shutting his eyes quickly. Doc pulled Bdubs' closer, letting the American cuddle into his chest.

"It's fine to be scared. Mein liebling, I'm here for you..."

Doc threw a fluffy blanket over the two of them, pulling Bdubs a bit closer. "Are you comfortable?"

Bdubs nodded silently, hugging close to the taller. "Sie sind nicht in Gefahr. Ich weiß, dass du mir nicht immer vertraust, aber bitte vertraue darauf, dass ich dich beschützen werde."

"I don't know if I'm more or less comforted when you speak German..." Bdubs mumbled.

"Would you prefer I tell you in English?"

Bdubs shook his head, "I don't know if I want to know what you're saying... Either I would get annoyed or flustered if I knew what you said... So, just continue as you wish."

Doc chuckled, one of his hands resting to gently play with the brunette's hair. "Es wird dir gut gehen."

"Ich liebe dich, Bdubs."

"That one was addressed to me-"

"Shhh..." Doc stroked through Bdubs' hair, "Go to sleep."

Bdubs chuckled, cuddling closer into Doc's chest.

"Gute Nacht mein liebling."
