A few days after our kiss we had gone to sleep as normal, we hadn't kissed since that night. Both of knew we had to focus on our baby and feelings for each other couldn't get in the way. Only this night was different, I woke Lucifer up as I cried out in pain.
"Grace what is it?" he asked panicked "Are you ok?"
"I think it's happening" I told him, breathing heavily "I think she's coming Lucifer"
"She's early" he stuttered still panicking,
"Do you want to tell her that?!" I exclaimed "Is she ok? can you hear anything?"
He managed to calm himself and listen for her heart,
"It's beating a little fast" he commented "but a normal rhythm, but yours Gracie is racing"
"No shit Luci I'm in fucking labour" I yelled
"What do I do?" He asked panicked
"We've been through this Lucifer" I snapped "You know what to do"
He nodded and took deep breath to calm himself,
"We've got this" he whispered, taking my hand, I nodded and squeezed his hand tight. I was terrified, nervous and excited all at the same time. Terrified that I wouldn't get to meet my little girl.
The contractions were getting closer and I could feel myself on the verge of blacking out each time.
"Lucifer I don't think I can do this" I cried,
"You can Gracie" he replied, he was sat behind me, my back against his chest urging me to push. "I need to move now so I can look for her head" he told me, I only nodded as he propped me against the headboard and positioned himself between my legs. "Come on baby you've got this" he reassured me.
After a few more agonising pushes....
"I can see it!!" he cried, "nearly there Grace"
"Luci I can't" I sobbed, the life was draining out of me, with every push she was taking a little more of my life source, I didn't have the energy to carry on.
"You listen to me" Lucifer commanded, "You are the strongest woman I know, our daughter is going to live to be exactly like you, she's going to be amazing because she's ours, you've just got to find that last bit of strength Gracie please"
"Okay" I nodded, taking deep breaths.
I just about heard her sweet little cry and Lucifer yell for Castiel before I blacked out.

Lucifer's POV
"Castiel!" I cried as I held my daughter in my arms, She was perfect, I knew she would be. It was impossible for anything that came from Y/N not to be perfect.
Castiel appeared, he was on the offensive until he saw the baby in my arms and Y/N blacked out on the bed, there was a lot of blood.
"Y/N" Castiel gasped, rushing to her side,
"You help me save her Cas" I pleaded "I can't do this without her" I gazed down at my daughter while Castiel assessed Grace. "Don't you worry" I whispered "Your mommy is going to be just fine"
I wrapped her in a blanket and placed her in the mosses basket I'd bought for her before joining Castiel at Grace's side.
"Can we save her?" I asked him, desperation in my voice.
"We can try" he replied, taking my hand as we put any differences aside and channelled each other in an attempt to heal Grace.
"We need to get her to a hospital" he exclaimed "this is beyond even our powers.. The baby was the only thing keeping her alive, it wasn't her draining Grac's life source, she was stopping Grace's body shutting down from just carrying a nephilim"
"Take her" I nodded, he didn't pause for a second, before I had time to blink they had disappeared and I was alone with our child.
"Hello Lily Grace" I cooed as I lifted her from her basket, she cried in my arms "shhhhhh Daddy's got you"

Grace's POV
I winced at the harsh white light as I struggled to open my eyes.
"Grace" I heard Sam gasp as my eye lids flickered
"Nurse" Dean yelled "We need a nurse in here"
Before I had chance to fully open my eyes, there were half a dozen doctors and nurses buzzing around me, checking machines I was attached to and my vitals.
Sam and Dean were hovering beside my bed, being scolded for getting in the way. I would have laughed if I was able to. They looked like shit though, both had grown beards and the bags under their eyes made them look older than were.
"Grace can you hear me?" Sam asked once the nurses had left, I nodded, I couldn't speak for the tube down my throat. He sighed in relief.
"You scared the hell out of us" Dean sighed "it's a miracle you survived"
"You wouldn't have made it at all without Lily" Sam added, my eyes widened at the mention of my daughters name and I tried to ask a million questions but couldn't.
"Shhhh don't try to speak" Dean added, "She's ok, your baby is ok"
"We were wrong" Sam explained "carrying her might have been killing you, but she was the one keeping you alive, making you strong enough to get through this" tears began to fall from my eyes. I longed for my baby. I looked at Dean pleadingly, he nodded and disappeared out of the room.
"They're on their way" Dean nodded, as if reading my mind "But Grace there's something you should know....."
He didn't get chance to finish his sentence before the door opened and Lucifer walked in, followed by a beautiful blonde haired, blue eyed angel, at least that was what she looked like, light seemed to surround her, her beauty was breath taking.
"Gracie" Lucifer grinned, eyes filling with tears as he rushed to my bedside, he kissed the top of my head and gestured for the blonde to join him, wrapping an arm around her he pulled he against him, smiling down at me, "Meet our daughter....Lily"
"Hi Mom" she spoke, my brow furrowed in confusion Mom? this girl must have been no younger than 17, how long had I been unconscious? She couldn't be my baby......could she?
