The first time Damian went into space was with Grayson, back when the other had to step up as Batman and wouldn't leave him alone to fend for himself, even when they were both at the Manor.
So he'd come along to a short meeting while being introduced to the Leaguers his father interacted a little less with that Superman (whom lived in nearby Metropolis and visited frequently, even if only on screen. With his speed it wasn't even a real issue to go to and fro.)

The second time had been with his father, Nightwing and Red Robin. His father took him along for security -- his, mostly, as he apparently had an attitude that rivaled his second brother. Hmph, at least he could take better care of himself that Jason in his time as Robin.

The other two were there to represent their teams as the corresponding leaders, strategists and, well, Bats. Apparently -and rightly so- the title and affiliation itself brought a reputation with it. Reason for this outer space visit was a briefing on the going-on's in each team, data comparison, missions and any kind of information exchange or request for backup, resources... He's heard it often enough. Not just with his family but back at his birth home too.
He was bored of it yet he would add a few remarks regarding the requests or information exchange. Of course, nothing too secretive in the LOA but enough to be taken seriously and validated.

It was funny, almost as much as it was ludicrous, when the other Leaguers would question why his -a child's- word should be trusted until his involvement with the Lague of Assassins was brought up. Then it would be legitimate concern in the form of glances if it was wise to have him there and not behind a cell.
Further huffed, somewhat amused, when Red Robin told them in clear words: "No can do, already tried. Plus, his allegiance lies with Batman, if not Nightwing. Not to mention they wouldn't take him back, so he's sticking with us."

Everyone had looked at Red Robin first, noticing how Nightwing seemed strangely proud and Batman seemed to be suspicious at the implications of there having been attempts to do so but was otherwise appearing pleased -though no one could actually tell unless they knew his tells- while literally everyone besides them was just frowning or confused.

The audacity when they looked at him afterwards like idiots. He rolled his eyes under his mask before repeating his previous statement about "not taking that amount of resources, lest of all XX as it would have mercenaries like Slade on the case faster than they can finish the transport, and they would need XY too in order to ensure the success of the plan, which they don't have the required amount in stock.
Either lessen the amount of XX or wait until they stock up on XY OR find an alternative Transport method, which could be accomplished by..."

His only feedback had been Hal Jordan's comment of "You talk too much like Batman", which got him rewarded with two matching grins. The lantern looked quite pale after that. It was nice.

Besides those times, was now.

Ironically enough, it was beyond the Watchtower's reach. It was in deeper, wider space. He couldn't see earth anymore, nor any of its--his more familiar solar systems.

It was far away. He was far away from home. Yet not alone, again.

The majority of the Batman's associates, meaning him, Father, Nightwing, Red Robin, Red Hood, Spoiler and even Blackbat had been called in to help on a large-scale league mission; Jason had laughed about it a whole day, being what still qualified as an Anti-hero, while bragging about Wonder Woman. Signal volunteered to stay home and watch Gotham so it "wouldn't go tits up while you're gone".
