Chapter 29

Leonardo Pov

Everyone was gathered around me when I opened my eyes. I felt a slight pain coming from my side I knew I was shot but I've been shot plenty of times I can withstand this much.

"Padre you alright?" Marcello asked reaching down to help me up.

"Sto bene (I'm good)" I said standing up dusting my suit off and looking at my wound. Luckily the bullet went straight through and didn't hit anything vital.

"Where are those stronzi (fuckers)?" I ask looking around for Anton and Alexei.

"While you were out we tied those stronzi up you got them pretty good, Anton in the leg and Alexei in the stomach. He was bleeding out so we had to intervene we couldn't have him die..yet" Gio said dragging both Anton and Alexei like dogs and tossing them at my feet.

"Well well it's nice to meet again no?" I question them as they squirm around like worms on the pavement. Kicking Anton across the face I watch as he spits blood and teeth from his mouth.

"Did you think you could live after the pain you've caused my sorella and my family?" Mattia said dragging Alexei to a table.

He tossed him flat on his back and tied his arms and legs. Alessandro and Andrea dragged Anton and laid him next to his dear brother tying him up as well.

They cursed us over and over again we ignored their taunts. We took off our suit jackets put on black gloves and gathered the tools we'll need to give them proper Justice.

"I don't care if you have any last words tonight is your last night alive" my padre said pulling out Anton's teeth with old pillars one by one.

Anton screamed in agony as Alexei shit his pants next to him. Alexei stared at his brother with wide eyes but he tried to maintain a calm facade but that was quickly broken.

My brothers hovered over Alexei with a pair of electrical cables. He squirmed trying to get away but the restraints were too tight. Angelo and Enzo put the cables to his body electrocuting him.

Alexei's body thrashed about on the table foam came from his mouth and smoke came from his body.

Anton laid there face bloodied as he looked over at his brothers crisped body. He screamed an agonizing scream as tears fall down his face.

"You didn't care about my figlia when she screamed" I said as I pulled out my gun and put a bullet through his head.

"Send their bodies to their father he'll want to know what happen to his sons" my padre said to some of the men that stood on the side awaiting orders.

"I didn't have time to deal with them I need to get back to my figlia" I said as I tore the bloody gloves off and threw them aside.

I stretched my arms and my jacket was put on for me. Dusting myself off and adjusting my clothes I headed for the door anxious to know how Luna was doing.

"We all shouldn't go to the hospital it'll probably be too much for Luna considering she still hasn't met us" Angelo said with a disappointed look.

"Yeah she needs more time for now she doesn't even want to see me.." I said with a more disappointed tone.

After going home and changing the boys, my padre and I were back at the hospital. Everyone went inside her room while I stayed out in the hallway peering through the little window on her door.

"I want to go in too" I thought pouting as I watched Luna and the rest of the family.

It wasn't like she was interacting with them she just sat up on the bed as they all talked amongst themselves. They frequently tried to get her to talk or eat but she refused and returned to staring off into space.
