Leonardo Pov
When my sons were born and I knew I had a baby girl on the way it was the happiest time of my life.
But those happy times soon went away when my ex wife ran off with my beautiful child in her womb. My sons and I spent years searching for my daughter but we came up empty handed.
As one of the worlds most feared and powerful men in the world you could guess how this constant failure tortured me. I witnessed the light in all of my sons eyes dim overtime. Yet I still tried my best to love and care for them.
It's only been a couple months since our principessa returned to her rightful place. She has changed all of us for the better. But we have yet to tell her about our mafia affiliation.
For a couple of reasons: She doesn't know what the mafia is, what if we scare her away? Will she still feel safe with us? A number of reasons stopped us from telling her.
This morning I had things to handle and apparently some underground gang is trying to make a name for itself. I was coming from putting a few bugs in their place when someone started to shoot at my car.
I was on the phone with Luna when the bastards started their attack. I could hear her scream in agony she must've been terrified. I swerved to avoid hitting other cars causing my phone to slip.
My guards surrounded my car in defense as they blocked the enemy. After the shootout their bodies slumped over in their cars. After checking a few of their identities I knew who sent them.
I couldn't focus on that too much because I was too worried about how Luna panicked over the phone. I take out my backup and dialed Marcello's number.
Ring ring
"Padre! Lu-" He was saying worriedly.
"I know I know. Is she alright? She was on the phone when it happened." I said.
"She went into a panic she's currently resting you need to hurry back before she wakes up." He said.
"I'm on my way." I hung up.

Walking into my house I make a b-line to my bedroom and take a quick shower. I don't want to look out of place when she sees me.
Knock knock
"Come in." I say.
"She's awake." Mattia said opening the door.
I knew this day was inevitable but I still found it hard to say the right words. How do you tell someone, your daughter that you're the mafia don? My deepest fear is that she shuns the family.
Walking through the hallway I was actually sweating a little. I was afraid of my own eighteen year child. My heart was beating faster than ever it didn't even skip a beat earlier when I was getting shot at.
I could hear the rest of my sons in her room as Mattia and I made our way there.
"Tesoro look who made it home." Mattia said walking inside with me following behind.
When I came in she nearly jumped out of bed wanting to get to me.
"Easy dolcezza." I said as I rushed to her side taking a seat on the bed next to her.
I wrapped my arms around her hugging her tightly. She cried bitterly in my arms I could tell she was shaken up.
"D-dad are you okay? I heard shooting a-and-"
"Shh shh dolcezza it's okay, I'm okay, see." I said showing her that I was completely fine.
She closely examined me scanning me from head to toe. Her eyes glistened with tears and her lips quivered with sadness.
