Chapter 54

Tony Pov

"I'm so anxious."

"Tony, she's my figlia, I'm more anxious than anyone," Leonardo said as we paced his office.

"Marcello is planting spies in the school right?" I asked for confirmation for the fifth time.

"Yes, while Mattia spoke with all the professors and staff. Gio handled the housing, and Alessandro and Andrea set up a secure perimeter."

Everything was going as planned so far but I felt something was missing.

"I would feel better if I could go to school with her though," I place my hand on my chin thinking of her.

"Don't tell me you'll attend as a student," Leonardo chuckled at me.

"Haha, very funny, but no I was thinking as a professor."

"Luna will flip! What's the point of hiding the spies and buying the school if you're just going to be in plain sight? We all decided to let her be under protection secretly."

He is right.

After she decided she was absolutely sure about school, the guys and I decided to protect her secretly.

I believe the system we have in place is solid for her protection but I can't help but want her all to myself.

"If she doesn't like it, I will quit," I said.

"What would you even teach? How can you become a professor with no teaching background?" Leonardo asked.

"I've trained my entire life and I have also trained plenty of men," I said confidently.

"You've trained them to kill Tony, what are you planning to teach freshman college students?"

I was stuck for a moment.

"Of course, how to exercise and self defense," I said sounding a bit unconfident in my own judgment. "Don't worry about me getting a job I'm sure I can pull a few legs to get hired."

"So a gym teacher? Ahahaha! The great 'shadow', is now nothing more than a gym teacher. Wait until I tell the boys about this," Leonardo laughed so hard he was hunched over.

"Laugh now, but let's see who will laugh when I get to see a beautiful angel everyday, all day."

With that I walk away, but not without hearing the curse words of Leonardo.

My next destination is the school where I will soon become a new professor.

Luckily, Anna was keeping Luna busy all day so I could get some work done.

An hour later, I pull into the parking lot of the university.

Men, women, teachers and students all seem to gawk at me. I was grateful to Anna for giving us a tour that day.

On top of having the entire blueprint of the school in Leonardo's office I know my way around.

Walking into the office I was greeted by a secretary.

Without giving her the light of day I walk into the deans office.

"I apologize Mr. Costa, he suddenly barged in-," the secretary was quick to follow after me but was stopped by her boss.

"It's fine Liz, go back to work," he said to her nicely not wanting to cause a panic.

"Mr. Costa, we meet again," I greeted as I took a seat behind his desk.

"Hello Mr. Accardo, may I ask what brings you here today? I assured you and Luna's family that we will provide the upmost care to Luna's education and safety here."
