Luna Pov
Four months later
"Dad! We have to hurry!" I said running into the house with bags of groceries.
"You know we have maids for this right?" Gio complained as he dragged more bags in.
"This is a family day so deal with it," I said directing everyone else on where to place the groceries.
"What's gotten into you lately?" Marcello asked putting the milk in the refrigerator.
"N-Nothing!" I said unable to hide my lies.
To be honest ever since Tony went away I've done everything to keep myself busy.
Luis and Anna are worn out by me and it's not exactly comfortable being the third wheel.Which left my dad and brothers to bother.
"Well I love spending time with you sorella," Mattia said ruffling my hair.
"Me too!" Andrea said not wanting to be left out.
"We all do but we also know when something is wrong," Alessandro said not dropping the topic.
"Enough. Your sorella obviously doesn't want to talk about it," my dad said saving the day per usual.
"Thanks dad," I said giving him a side hug.
He hugged me back and we proceeded to put the food up.
I had the entire night planned first, I would cook a meal and then we'll watch movies. I had snacks and drinks as well.
"It's been a while since I've cooked anything," I said under my breath as I started to prepare.
"Need any help?" My dad said startling me.
"Oh, dad! You scared me," I said.
"Sorry dolcezza,"
"It's alright," I said.
"I'll help you just tell me what to do," he said while washing his hands.
"You can peel the vegetables I'm sure your a pro with a knife," I said teasing him.
"That I am dolcezza," he said dicing and chopping the vegetables with ease.
While he cut the vegetables I washed and seasoned the meat.
"It been a while since you had us all together like this," he said.
"Yeah I missed you guys," I said honestly, yet I also know the other reason behind my sudden clingy behavior.
"Have you spoken to him?" He asked.
My hands stopped moving and I stood there for a second.
I don't know why I thought I could hide anything from my dad.
I'm sure they all know why I've been in a constant state of business.
"Yeah but it's been a while," I said recalling our last phone call.
"He's doing fine Luna don't worry too much okay? He's well trained and he's a smart guy he won't let anything happen. The thought of you waiting for him is enough to keep him alive," my dad said reassuring me.
"Thanks dad," I said.
"Now get out the kitchen your job here is done," I said.
"Wow, you just use me for the hard part?" He said.
"Onions are my nemesis," I said laughing.
"And you think these tears are for fun?" He said pointing to his wet face.
