I can't help but to look out of the mirror at Tony as Luis drives away.

"You know we can go back right"? Luis said.

To be honest I almost took him up on that offer but decided against it. If I want to become independent I have to put my foot down and keep it there.

Yet my mind went back to the look in Tony's eyes as he watched me drive away with Luis.

Shaking that out of my head I decide to fill Luis out and see if he can be a friend to me or not.

"I-it's fine, anyway where are we going?"

"My friend Danny is having a little get-together at his place. When you texted me I thought it'll be cool to introduce you to some of my friends. Do you want to go? If not-"

"No we can go to the party, I don't want to ruin your plans".

A party huh? I guess this could be an opportunity to be around people my age in a social setting. I cheered myself on as we drove.

"So why haven't you been around for eighteen years? I mean I don't want to intrude but everyone will wonder".

I'm not going to tell him the truth we are not that close.

"I lived with another family I just found out I have a father and brothers haha". I tried laughing it off to make it sound less messed up than it is.

"Oh. Well I'm happy that you found your remaining family, if not I wouldn't have met an amazing friend".

"T-thanks, I feel the same".

"So tell me about your self little Russo". He said smiling at me.

His smile was charming, Luis reminds me of a Prince. His hair was brown which matches his brown eyes, and his nose was high and perfectly symmetrical, paired with plump lips.

"W-well I'm eighteen turning nineteen soon, I just got my diploma so I'm happy about that". I said smiling at my accomplishment. "I like to draw and paint".

"Congratulations on your graduation I bet your family is proud. I'm a terrible artist, haha, but my stick figures are top tier".

We both laughed at his joke and pitiful drawing skills.

"Now tell me something about you". I said.

"As you may have guessed I am part of the mafia, my family runs the Spanish mafia. I have two older brothers and we all live with our parents. My padre is the don like your father Leonardo, while my older brothers and I have our desired positions. I'm also in my second year of college".

"O-our families are on good terms right"? I asked.

"Hahaha, of course if we weren't your family wouldn't have allowed me to leave". He said laughing like that was a joke.

"Oh I see.. but you said you are in college? Wow I was thinking of attending". I confessed my interest in school.

"You should give it a try though school isn't my forte I think it'll suit you". He said encouraging me.

"Thanks, I'm glad someone thinks so". I said

"We'll talk about that later, now it's time to party, we made it". He said pulling into a mansion's driveway.

I was shocked at how smoothly we were conversing and I didn't realize quickly the time passed.

I'm still nervous and find myself stuttering but other than that I feel good about the situation. On the other hand, I was breaking out into a cold sweat as I hear the loud music coming from the mansion.
