Luna Pov
"Dolcezza, here is your milkshake," my dad said walking into the hospital room.
I peer over his shoulder looking at the door, where is Tony? I thought.
"Thanks dad," I wanted to ask, but if I seem too curious about him they'll get suspicious.
I have a weird feeling in my chest, Tony hasn't been gone long, but I miss him.
Taking a few sips of my milkshake, I start to feel the pain of Leah's attack. My ribs and back are killing me.
I don't want to make a big deal about it, I'm just now starting to get my family to loosen the reins. I know that they are extremely protective of me.
The incident of me wanting to travel is a prime example. They didn't want me to leave their sight to the point I "traveled" to the backyard.
Imagine the chaos, when, and if they find out I'm dating. I don't want them to make me choose between Tony or them.
I mean picking my family is what I would do, they are my everything, yet so is Tony. I don't know if my head is now hurting because of the cold milkshake, or all the thinking I'm doing.
"Luna, are you alright? You look a bit uncomfortable," Mattia asked.
"I'm alright, can-," I was about to ask for pain medication when the door opened and Tony walked in.
The happiness I felt when he finally arrived, vanished. His face was bruised, like he had been hit. His cheek was red and purple, and he had a gash under his eye that is stitched up.
"My god, Tony! What happened?!" I exclaimed, hopping out of the hospital bed ignoring my own hidden injuries.
I scurry to him, and when I approached I took his face into my hands examining the damage.
"My love, what happened?!" I said, forgetting that we aren't alone, the concern I have is overshadowing everything.
"I'm okay amore, I promise. I just got into a little scuffle," he said, placing his hands on my shivering shoulders.
Our moment was interrupted by a loud voice booming through the room.
"What the fuck is going on right now?!" Marcello yelled, as he pushed us apart.
Already feeling unwell from earlier, on top of seeing Tony beat up, my energy was gone. Marcello's slight nudge made me fall down hard on my butt.
"Ow!" I cried.
"Oh my god! Luna!" Marcello said rushing to help me up.
I wince in pain as he helps me stand on my feet.
"I'm so sorry Luna, I didn't mean it," he apologized sincerely.
"Goddamnit Marcello! What are you trying to do?!" Tony said breaking me away from Marcello, and holding me close in his arms.
"Hey! I should be asking you that, what the hell are you doing with my sister?!" He yelled.
"I knew something wasn't right with this punk," Gio said standing, glaring at Tony.
"Don't tell me.." Mattia said looking at me, I could only look away, I couldn't meet his eyes. I'm a liar, after everything they have done for me I went behind their back.
"Padre! Say something!" Alessandro said.
"Just what in the world is happening," Andrea said.
"ENOUGH!" My dad yelled making me flinch, in all the time I've been with my dad I have never heard him raise his voice in my presence.
