After the Park siblings assembled their alliance, JeongWoo had sworn to train his pheromone until he could control at least ten people at once with ease. This number haunted him—exactly how many bodyguards surrounded his father at any given moment. Time pressed against his chest like a physical weight, made heavier by his need to stay beside Junkyu constantly.

When JeongWoo confided in Vince about the events at the Park manor, the right-hand man volunteered himself as the target for JeongWoo's training. His devotion ran deeper than loyalty; it was love wrapped in duty, a fierce determination to see his boss and Junkyu safe.

JeongWoo would slip away from Junkyu's hospital room in the hours before dawn, when the triplets finally stilled their restless movements and allowed their mother some peace. Each departure began with a gentle kiss pressed to Junkyu's forehead—a blessing, an apology, a promise that tasted of everything he was fighting to protect.

Together with Vince, he would climb to the hospital rooftop. The winter air bit at their exposed skin, but neither complained. The cold sharpened their focus, stripped away everything but the raw necessity of their purpose.

"Ready, Vince?" JeongWoo asked, his voice steady despite the tension coiled in his shoulders.

Vince's breath misted in the frigid air. "Remember, Sir, your pheromone is powerful, but it's also unmistakable. Any alpha worth their salt will feel it coming from a mile away."

The truth of it settled heavy in JeongWoo's chest. "It's not subtle, is it?"

"You need to train it to be quieter," Vince suggested, his eyes holding the intensity of someone who understood what was at stake. "Make it feel like almost nothing until it's too late. That way, your father won't notice when you release it in front of him."

JeongWoo's eyes narrowed as he considered the implications. "Make it stealthy."

"Exactly. Control is everything. Make it so that by the time they realize what's happening, they're already under your command."

The words hung between them like a challenge. JeongWoo drew the cold air deep into his lungs, feeling it burn against his throat. "Alright, Vince. Let's start. I need to be ready for anything."

The first attempts were brutal failures. JeongWoo's pheromone erupted from him like a violent storm, and Vince's body responded with primal terror. Sweat beaded on the alpha's skin despite the bitter cold, his frame trembling as the oppressive weight of JeongWoo's power crashed against his consciousness.

JeongWoo clenched his jaw, frustration carving lines into his face. He tried again, pushing harder, but Vince's natural dominance allowed him to resist, to shake off the effects like water. Each failure grated against JeongWoo's nerves until his teeth ached from clenching them.

"It's impossible," JeongWoo growled, defeat bleeding into his voice. "My pheromone is too violent, too obvious. I can't control it like this."

But Vince, despite the lingering tremors in his limbs, saw something in JeongWoo's desperation that sparked an idea.

"Sir," Vince said, his voice cutting through the morning air. "Try thinking about Master Junkyu. Imagine it's him you're trying to control. Maybe that will help you harness it more gently."

The suggestion hit JeongWoo like a physical blow. He closed his eyes, and behind his lids, Junkyu materialized—not as he was now, fragile and tethered to machines, but as he had been in their stolen moments of happiness. His smile that could melt steel, his laugh that made everything feel possible, the impossible softness in his eyes when he looked at JeongWoo as if he were seeing home for the first time.
