"Don't be nervous. Everything will be fine," JeongWoo said softly, reaching for Junkyu's hand and guiding it to his lap.

"I'm not nervous, just impatient," Junkyu muttered, his voice tinged with frustration. "What's taking them so long? It's just a simple test." He huffed loudly, stomping his foot, causing Vince—who stood at the far end of their row, guarding their space from anyone daring to approach—to stifle a quiet laugh.

JeongWoo gave Junkyu's knuckles a reassuring rub, his thumb moving gently to ease the omega's tension. They'd been sitting in the Administration for Children and Families Bureau's waiting room for over two hours, and while Junkyu's patience was running thin, JeongWoo remained composed. He didn't want to add to the stress. After all, one should keep the waters calm.

Junkyu sighed, resting his head on JeongWoo's shoulder. "Maybe we should just come back tomorrow. What was I thinking, asking you to rush them?" He winced, regretting his request to the alpha. The hard bench in the busy waiting room was making everything worse. It would've been so much better to wait at home, comfortable and at ease.

JeongWoo glanced down at him with a slight frown. "But I won't be able to come with you tomorrow."

Junkyu curled his free hand around JeongWoo's bicep, pulling his head back just enough to rest his chin on the same spot, gazing up at the alpha with pleading eyes. "Do you really have to go?"

"I can't reschedule the meeting," JeongWoo replied with a small sigh, but the playful glint softened his gaze when he saw the pout on Junkyu's face. Unable to resist, he leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to the omega's rosy lips. "I'll only be gone for two days."

"Why does it feel like you're getting busier and busier lately?" Junkyu asked, his voice tinged with concern. "Do you feel uncomfortable in our new house? You used to work from your penthouse a lot, but ever since we moved in, you've been going to the office every day except weekends, and you've been traveling so much too."

JeongWoo raised an eyebrow, a playful smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Why would I feel uncomfortable with you there?" He gently cupped Junkyu's cheek, guiding his head back to rest on his shoulder. He kissed the top of his crown, his voice warm and steady as he spoke again. "Sugar, I feel comfortable wherever you are. Whether it's my penthouse or our new house, as long as you're with me, I feel at home."

He paused for a moment, his thumb caressing Junkyu's cheek as he continued. "I've got a lot of business plans that need to be pushed through before next year, but I want to get everything settled before our pups arrive. That way, I can take a long paternity leave and be here for you when they come. If everything goes according to plan, I won't have to leave the house for at least six months. And I don't think you'll be able to handle three crying babies all at once, will you?"

Instead of answering, Junkyu grinned and hugged JeongWoo's arm, kicking his legs happily like a child. His heart fluttered with warmth. The thought of JeongWoo holding their two babies while he fed one made him feel giddy inside, the anticipation of their growing family filling him with joy.

"Bear with my absence a little longer, hmm? You've got Ayida, Dayana, and your brother to keep you company at home. You won't even notice I'm not there." JeongWoo reassured, rubbing the back of Junkyu's hand on his arm.

"Ah, right. Speaking of company, when Doyoung and I were preparing breakfast this morning, he mentioned your friends." the omega suddenly announced, his voice casual but curious.

JeongWoo blinked, surprised. "Friends?"

Junkyu gave a small nod. "Your friends—the ones who helped bring Doyoung to our home. Umm... Aoki, Seung Ho, and Eunhe? If I'm not mistaken."
