POV Ashely

It's been a few days since Jay and I's little Thanksgiving. It's now December meaning we get a bit of a break before the mad rush of the New Year for our spring and summer lines. I have a bit of a suprise for Jay before Christmas, for just the two of us. I want to be able to take this time we have very little of and use it to our advantage. The wedding, work and a lot of other factors are taking and will be taking a lot of our time so I want to have a small getaway for us. I had talked to Hotch during Thanksgiving at Rossi's giving him the dates and he assured me she will have off and everything will be fine making me really excited. We still have just under 2 weeks till then so I am cramming as much as I can now and till then so I can have pretty much the end half of December off. MK and I planned our meetings and inportant issues to the first week of December to give us both time off. A lot of work can be done by our employee's and interns, who we trust to get the job done, so we aren't really needed after we get all this done. But the downfall of craming is all the stress. I think I am going to have gray hair by the end of the week. "Miss. Olsen you have Ben Cramer on line 2" Jess our assistant says sticking her head into my office (I honestly forgot the name of the assistant so either this is a new one or she got a name change). "Thank you Jess" I say picking up the phone with a sigh. "This is Ashley Olsen" I say into the phone. "Ah, Ashley finally, I'm glad I got you and not Mary-Kate" He says making me roll my eyes and clench my jaw. I really hate this man and he is always a dick to my sister making me really want to punch his face. "What can I do for you Mr. Cramer?" I ask in my boss bitch voice, as MK likes to call it. "I saw the books for last quarter and I am a little lost on how we are lower than last" he says and I sigh pinching my nose. He is one of our investors and is always pointing our flaws and trying to undermind us. "If you read through the report attached to it you would see that we had made a few donations and put in for an expansion for a office in Paris." I explain really not having time for this man. "It looks bad to the investors Ashley and I expect more from you. This is why women need a man otherwise things like this happen." He says making me scuff. "I would watch what you say Mr. Cramer. Much to your belief we don't need your money and quite frankly I would rather not have you on my books. If you have anymore concerns contact our finace department and they can give you the rundown of how your money is being used but other than that the rest is no concern to you" I say sternly and I hear a small scuff in shock from him. "Now I have things that are more important than this. Have a nice day" I say and hang up the phone. I groan setting my head down on the desk only the jump up and a clap. "That was bold of you Miss. goody two shoes" MK smirks making me roll my eyes but with a small smile on my face. "He was pissing me off" I say shrugging making her laugh.

"MK, did you send Jess for the edits?" I ask my sister a few hours later popping my head into her office. "Ya, I need to get the packet set so we can send it to the design team" She says looking up from the fabrics she's going through. "Shit, ok" I sigh rubbing my face. "Why? Did you need her to do something?" She asks me. "No, I can do it. I'm just all over the place today and forgeting everything. She always has a spread sheet of our day and I can't find the file" I groan making her nod. "Want a smoke?" She asks and I roll my eyes. "No, I want to be done with this week and maybe drink a bottle of wine" I say making her nod and hum in agreement. "that sounds good, but it's only Tuseday" she says making me groan and walk back to my office. I end up getting through a lot of emails until Jess comes in letting us know we have a meeting with our editing team. The next few days go by the same, emails, meetings and a lot of stress. I have been trying to leave it all at work and not bring it home but I can tell Jay knows. God, she always knows. She hasn't mentioned anything but she has run me baths everyday after work, given me messages and plently of cuddles making me feel very relaxed. I am very grateful for her and I think I may have stabbed my eyes out by now by all these men trying to tell me how to do my job if not for her. Today is Thursday and I am so ready for the weekend, which also means a few days closer to our little getaway. I still haven't told Jay and I probably should but I honsetly keep forgetting. With work and then being at home totally relaxed my brain is mush. "Have you both eaten yet?" Jess asks coming into MK's office where we are sitting on the couch going through more samples. "Uh, no. Not yet but we will later" I say and look back at samples.
