summer,

i think a time to remember with the warm weather,
spent every night on the phone with you

telling each other our darkest secrets,
and secrets i thought
that were gonna stay between us

i thought wrong

you see,
i'm always looking for the good in people,

but this,

this kind of betrayal i did not see coming
from someone who said just because we aren't friends anymore doesn't mean i will tell,

"i have respect"
she said

again,
for the billionth time

i'm stabbed in the back

just surprised i haven't fell on my knees yet,

i kept her secrets,
but she didn't keep mine

liar liar liar liar lair

you were never my friend

you were a vent going into another room

so for that,

no i'm not gonna tell what you've told me

but,
i will tell this story,
you cannot trust anyone,

literally

any fucking one

the devil was once an angel

this chapter is for you charolette
