i would say,
maybe he did it for himself
maybe he did it to protect his reputation
but little did he know,
the arrest he carries above his head
maybe this was for the better
pain that i've endured,
i didn't deserve that
he didn't tell the truth cause
he knows the price he would have to pay
the truth he never shared
maybe it was for the better
